Sleep habit and it's effect

    Have you ever wondered if you sleep late at night maybe at 2 or 3 AM. You are more likely to masturbate. I used to note down when I M so usually it's late at night. Sometimes I used to see porn all day. But morning was fine I didn't M even if no one is at home.
    Then I started waking early in morning at 4AM which resulted in sleeping early around 9 or 10 PM. I noticed when you wake early you are less likely to do PMO. Is it just me or has anyone noticed it.
    I am spending more time in this community to help myself and others.

    This definitely relates to me...
    In order to fight with this pmo monster, my approach was to record my every single act during the day and then detect the problem causing ones so that I would try to get rid of them if they caused me to relapse. And guess what, as innocent as it may seem, sleeping late or having a bad sleeping routine turned out to have huge impact on my will power against watching porn and masturbation. Sleeping late also decreases my physical performance as well as mental sharpness. So I feel low and it affects my confidence; so my brain thinks it need some easy dopamine to feel good.
    I can not say I've cured myself, I'm still having trouble with my sleeping routine. I'm considering taking some sleeping pills next but I do not want to achieve it with medical aid. I tried waking up early at 4:30 like you but I couldn't make it consistently. I'm still trying and if you amigos have any suggestions I'm listening.
    One thing is for sure, my body is really sensitive when it comes to sleep quality. If I fall asleep before 11PM the next day I feel invincible but if I don't then I'm more likely to spend the next day on the side of the cliff.
