sleeping bad vs. nocturnal emissions

    Good evening,

    I am doing NoFap since the 15th of May and I wantend to talk about this with someone.
    After every two weeks i get nocturnal emissions for multiple days and even two times in the same night. I tried to stop sleeping at my stomach and started sleeping on the side or the back, but i am not sure if the trade off for sleeping bad or having nocturnal emissions is worth it. The waking up in the night makes me feel really groggy in the morning and i am not sure, if it would be "better" to start doing it again every two weeks or something. In my deepest i do not want it, but i need my sleep ..

    Thank you for your reply! I already started that using the app Atom(In Google Play: "Atom: Build a habit of meditation (For Beginners)"), and i am not sure if its really working for me.

    You need to vent this energy through physical exercise until exhaustion. I've heard that we have a battery inside us, each person with their intensity, if that battery is full, you should empty it, so you can sit and lie down without feeling restless and uncomfortable. Therefore, exhausting physical exercise, not consuming excess carbohydrates before bed, and not identifying with wet thoughts is the key to avoiding nighttime pollution.

    Thank you for your answer!
    I am already doing sports everyday, but consuming excess carbohydrates before bed could be a problem for me. And (of course) wet thoughts for someone which is single for 5 years are a problem.
     
  6. You can train new sleeping positions. The healthiest sleeping position is straight with the front facing ceiling. Your body can adjust surprisingly quickly to new sleeping situations it will just take a few days of being groggy. If you can afford 3-10 days of grogginess it might actually help you in the next 60 years as many back problems can be attributed to sleeping with a curved spine position during sleep

    Yes i can confirm this. If u are actively fantasising and are sleep deprived and having bad quality sleep especially if u sleep on your stomach, nocturnal emission is almost inevitable.
