So I got this whole life thing figured out now.

    So I have established a lifestyle that is fucking great and I am loving life right now. I am going to keep living this way forever and it genuinely works for me. Hopefully it will help some more of you out there because my energy alertness mental clarity and physical well being has never been better. This might seem hardcore but has worked wonders and I promise its sustainable and works. Step one is hardcore no PMO. Be honest with yourself and don't give into temptation the longer you go the easier it gets dont look at it as a challenge or number of days but a lifestyle change. Accept never fapping again. Be at peace with this notion. Focus on having a relationship with a girl but dont worry about the sexual release. Connect with them on an even deeper level than lustful mating sex. I would suggest maybe the methods of karezza and being equal in the relationship. I genuinely think this is the best way to find lifelong love and happiness in a relationship but also keep in mind im a 17 year old kissless virgin who is still afraid to talk to girls lol. The second step is very similar in regards to self discipline however I believe there to be an undeniable link between this and nofap. The second step is intermittent fasting. Basically you go for extended periods of time without food but dont starve yourself. Eat the appropriate number of calories and balance of nutrients ( roughly 40% carbs 40% protein 20% fat) I feel so much better, have mental clarity and a sense of purity combining these methods. I have eaten a single meal every 24 hours consisting of 1500 calories and done hardcore no PMO. You are probably skeptical but I will continue these practices forever, it is how we were maid to live. I have been doing these things off and on, but these last few months I have gone 87 days of hardcore no PMO and went from 230 to 170 lbs although only around 30lbs has been in these last few months. Find something that works for you. For me this is it and if your desperate give it a try. But we are all different just find the strategy that makes you feel good and follow it.     Wow congrats on losing that weight. Super impressive! Just 3 more days until 90 days no pmo is amazing. I'm on day 22 and that just seems soo far away :(

    You have already taken the crucial first steps. From day 21 onward you will continue to feel more and more motivatd. Remember why you started, and any time you get an urge come straight to the forums.

    Thanks for the support and advice abd congrats on your progress. I also didnt like the small meals; even though they worked fasting feels so much better, especially when combined with nofap.

    YOU have inspired me! I have toyed with Intermittent fasting in the past and noticed some real changes in mental clarity. Since I have a sizeable amount of weight to lose, I am going to give this a try along with my NoFap journey. Best of Luck to you. Keep it going.

    This is the first time I've read about IF (Intermittent Fasting) and NoFap in the same posts. I've found IF helps me to be disciplined in other areas of my life, including NoFap, because it keeps my mind clear. I've experimented with various types of IF, and all seem to work. I'm not hard core with IF, but going for long periods of time with no food is no longer an issue. No more 3 meals a day for me, or small meals all day long.

    Presently I eat breakfast and dinner with about 12 hr IF. I know that's not "true" IF, but it's a cycle for me. I'll be back to 24 hours. I like that I can still be social if I choose to eat out.

    I've lost 30 lbs but sadly I have 60 more lbs to go.

    Congratulations man! You are not alone, I am 17 as well and also afraid of talking to girls. Talking to girls is good, but we have to overcome our addiction first. We shall never surrender!

    Good for you man! Still working on my daily routine for a good life, but I find it is mostly trial and error, plus consistent practice.

    Thank you :D that is a good mindset to have; focus on being someone that makes you happy not on being with someone that makes you happy. Once we get our confidence up and are finally prepared talking to girls will come easier. My anxiety has continued to improve after implementing these positive lifestyle changes.     Thats an accurate assessment, trial and error and consistent practice have been vital to all facets of my self betterment. Good luck in finding what works for you, I have a feeling things are going to start getting a whole lot better for you :D

    Hey everyone I am really glad this post is still getting some attention and thank you all very much for the sincere and inciteful comments and support :D a surprising amount of time has past since I made this thread, so I would like to give some updates. 1) I have also begun to implement cold showers by jumping in the coldest water possible every morning which has been beneficial on so many levels. 2) I am still eating very healthily and even more natural foods tham before. I now eat around 1700 calories, have experienced some muscle growth with daily weightlifting, and am down to 158 lbs - never felt or looked better. 3) I am on the same nofap streak as I was when I first created this post and am still going strong. Today is day 138 of hc no PMO and I continue to come to realizations and find answers within myself deep into this streak. My mindset has continued to evolve in a positive way and I plan to keep doing nofap even though my porn addiction is gone completely and I have established a healthy view of women. 4) This is the most reccent break through I have had with self confidence - there is this girl I have had a crush on for a long time that I have been afraid to talk to but she has shown interest in me and we have talked. I am going to ask her out soon which will be a huge milestone for me no matter what she says.

    Thank you all again so much for the support and inspiration. Keep doing nofap it is the single greatest decision I have ever made. Patience. Discipline. Determination.

    Thank you :D and I will be sure to post updates as things begin to unfold. As far as my first approach it was very brief but friendly, she even said hi to me first! I am going to try to talk to her tomorrow if I get the chance.
