Lol freaking exactly. The idea that this forum is full of "dem crazy liberals" is just ridiculous. The vast majority of political threads here are conservative, praising Trump, etc. And people aren't trying to get them shut down.

 

There's a lot of conservatives and liberals here to be fair. To avoid the drama I usually stay out of off-topic but I the temptation beats me sometimes (I think we all know what that's like).

I used to really enjoy browsing and posting on these forums until the mods started shutting down all the interesting threads for the benefit of the the snowflake patrol. Now I just log in every once in a while to used the counter function.

Poop is a biohazard. Pooping in the street brings actual disease and unsanitary conditions that impact the health of people. Words, even when they’re harsh, don’t cause disease, so they aren’t even comparable.

You were posting on the misogyny thread @Evig Faith made about how simply treating women like humans was somehow oppressive toward men. Snowflakes exist everywhere, and I’ve certainly encountered many right-wing snowflakes.

100%. Sometimes I question why some come on here. I don’t delve deep into PMO discussion now like I used to, but I also don’t purposely create drama on here either like some do.

I guarantee you at least one topic on the front page of OT During most given time periods has an argument of some sort.

Things like open insults, racism, genocide justification etc. have no place in a civil community. 99% of people understand. The remaining 1% can't be dealt with in any other way than by censorship.

 

Don't put words in my mouth that I never said. I took the flak some who disagreed gave. I didn't agree with everything that was said in that thread, but the militant feminazis in it weren't tolerating other viewpoints than their own. Of course I will have a big problem with that.

That thread wasn't deleted because of me, but because of the snowflakes that couldn't take that others don't believe in the bullshit bluepilled egalitarianism. The people that were arguing for others being treated like humans only believe in the humane treatment of those who agree with them. Also, try not to @ me next time. I feel like you're singling me out and declaring me your enemy.

What kind of replies do you mean excatly?
Is someone actually getting butthurt over your threads?
Or are you just upset that someone disagreed with something you said?
Also if someone actually got butthurt, was it in a thread where you calmly and respectfully told your opinion or did you write provocatively about some controversial topic?

It's dufficult to say anything about the topic when all you give us is your view of how people mustreated you without any factual context.

While almost everyone agrees that insults and racism aren’t permissible, what exactly is considered racist and an insult? Especially in a world saturated with overly-sensitive buffoons who think the CONCEPT OF TIME is racist.

Personally, if I had a choice, I’d prefer to see racism over government censorship, mainly because society takes care of the former while it gets oppressed by the latter. Also racists tend to stay within their cesspools.

 

There is a disturbing relationship in the trend of people whining here and their content history... In almost all of these gentlemens' earlier posts you will find misogyny, hatred, and outright attacks on anyone daring to point the truth. And then they have the gall to claim that somehow the management is out to get them!

All I’m saying is there are too many snowflakes in politics these days, and it’s just hilarious whenever they call each other one. The conservatives act rough and tough, but become huge snowflakes whenever someone like Ilhan Omar dare mention AIPAC’s actual job of being a lobbying firm for Israeli interests. It is all about the Benjamins for AIPAC. Then the same ever-so-brave, ultimate snowflake-destroying saviours of America outright supported an anti-semitism resolution that goes against the same free speech they claim to cherish. Then the Woke Left get offended over literally everything else under the Sun.

Yeah, there are certain threads I should stay away from because I get mad and getting mad causes me to relapse, but the temptation to look at them is so great that I give in. Then I'm like fuck these people, fuck this forum, fuck rebooting I'm looking at porn to get over the stress that the thread brought me. Now I just block the members who start these threads. It's a shame since not everything they write is bad but seeing their threads in the off-topic isn't helping my recovery.

I think there's a lot more conservatives than liberals here. It must be like 1 out of 10 members is a liberal.

 

Yes, exactly! I've always found it a bit strange that people would want to censor racism. Don't you want everyone to know that person is terrible? How will they know that if you censor them? Like sometimes I get annoyed when the mods take down really sexist threads here or something, because I'm like "well great, now nobody knows that this dude is a horrible person who thinks women are objects made for his pleasure." I don't see how that really helps in the long run. It's nice to not have to see sexist stuff, but I also would rather know if the person I'm talking to is a crazy person who thinks I'm subhuman or something.

 

I would agree. Or at the very least, I don't think the liberals here are posting about politics, because they know they are in the minority and nobody is going to agree with them.

Like I'm pretty in the middle on a lot of things. I have a lot of conservative views, but some liberal ones as well, and this is where I come to rant with fellow conservatives about stuff all my liberal friends would attack me for. But i wouldn't dare post a thread about my liberal views, because i know it wouldn't go over well. Just as I don't post about my conservative views in my little writing community full of liberals.
