Some helpful tips to keep me from 'browsing'?

  1. I've had my own list, but some seldom ever work. What are some things I can do that has helped you?

You can lock "safe search" on goggle and on iphone you can block out porn and explicit stuff from safari from the settings

The truth is that tricks don't work. I've tried many in the past. The only thing that works is to not do it. If you really don't want to watch porn, don't look it up; don't browse. The temptation will grow and grow, and it will suck, but it will eventually go away. It may take more than one day to go away, but that's alright, because you can't watch porn under any circumstances; you know that. Just don't look it up. It's the only thing that works.

  4. Avoid people and websites with a 'triggering' vibe.
Surround yourself with good people. Open the curtains, put your computer in a public space.

Your mind doesn't have a delete button.
You can't make it "stop" anything. You can, instead, decide what you will do now. What you want now.
Words are tricky here, for example Enwar, he can honestly say "I stopped M", but I'll argue that even though it looks correct in grammar, in essence he actually decided to now be that person who lives life according to his values or faith. That's why his decision will last.
Think about why you decided not to browse. Write those things down. Then, when urge hits, focus on improving those things, instead of "not browsing". In fact I'd even say that the moment when the urge hits you is not the best way to do in. Do that before the urge! Read or contemplate all those good things you'll be, do or have now that you are a new person first thing in the morning, in the middle of the day, before going to sleep. Praise yourself for staying faithful to your goals. See what I mean? Fighting what you think is wrong only keeps you entangled in it. For example if you decide "don't imagine oranges", you'll imagine oranges all day, and each time you'll say "don't imagine those oranges again", and you'll imagine them even stronger. Get off the demented carousel and focus on what you prefer instead. Maybe some people who is your role model? Or you want to browse something that is good for you?
