    As I am married, is it possible to join the space marine challenge (whenever it's open) in no PM mode instead of no PMO?

    Hey Champ! We'll most likely have another challenge for Feb starting soon and it would be great to have you join! I think I speak for everyone when I say that the challenge is about meeting your own goals; some people here might consider sex a reset, whereas others like myself would consider that fine, and everyone will always respect the rules you set for yourself. It's perhaps easiest to compare it to an honour system - everyone has their own reasons for doing this, so it's up to every individual to decide whether or not to reset their counter. Stick around and you'll see the Feb challenge when it goes live, hope to see you there!

    @Sebbrix I can relate to the first thing. With more days in I also had thoughts oriented more on normal sex and just absolutely normal sexual interactions. Then I typically fapped. And then the old fucked up twisted fantasies came in.

    The girl thing...its about your priorities. What do you want to the most? Is it just another random sex or you want to see how it goes with the other girl?
    My personal opinion is - when you are not in relationship you can do whatever you want. So if you feel like connecting with your friend, do it, you can then connect with the other girl too and lets see how it goes.

    Hi all. Relapsed again last night as I feel gutted by being defeated. I am so angry about it that it's actually depressing. Anyway my fellow wolves I will be going into hibernation mode to calm this PMO bear and will rejoin the hunt after gaining composure.

    I think my reason to rejoin is not out of pure intention to quit PMO rather its out of my anger of being defeated and my ego being hurt. I need to calm down, gain composure in a week or so and then get my intention right and rejoin the roaming wolves of the plains.

    I did feel that I was getting snappy before I failed. But I must say guys arround the 40 plus day mark you do feel that you can go on forever.

    Life is hard as it can get at the moment. But this is where the efforts really count. So I am gonna be switched off for a while but please do count me in for the Feburary challenge.

    Honestly I wouldn't overthink it. Sex in itself is not a bad thing. I mean you're not in a relationship right now so just go for it. Those are just my two cents though.

  9. hmm depends on your view on the whole topic of sexuallity.
    From what I have read now, you actually don't want to engage in "meaningless" sexualy activity.
    If you know this deep in your hear you should have an honest conversation with your "primal-self". Reallly lay down the benefits and negatives of all scenarios and make a centered decicion.
    Use this as an ankerpoint, when you feel the craving of sex coming up. Remind yourself, that when you were thinking clearly you made this decision, so anything that speaks against in now is much likely a lie (or not the whole truth.. wich is bisically still a partial lie^^)

    You can also make use of sexual transmutation (I know this has kind of an esoteric touch because of the online community usage, but hear me out I tell you its real)
    You can get a whole other perspective on sexuality. It's not only this itch, this craving, this desire you must get rid of, but it's passion, it's energy and motivation. ANd you can use this! Think about making love to life, in areas that can baer fruit. You can use this anywhere really. E.g. when walking as an extra pep in your step.

    Maybe these concepts can guide you in a good direction. Take care!

    Speaking of which, @Sebbrix keep on checking in mate, it doesn't matter that you're no longer contributing points to the team this month - it's still helpful to maintain connection with the group :)

    I promised myself to check in daily so I mist report a relapse.
    What happened?
    I didnt block my internet data for browsing safari on phone.
    I checked the news website because wanted to stay in bed and just do something
    There was some spicy news, which I was subconsciously looking for anyway
    I intentionally searched for more
    Realized wtf I am doing
    Felt like I already broke my rules

    So what are you going to do about it?
    No surfing in bed? Getting a morning routine? Maybe an app called pluckeye could help if you still want to check the news (it blocks all images)

    I've got a new routine that is pretty effective. I lock all my electronic devices in my apartment basement (lock away them somewhere where it will be a hassle to retrieve them like your car), then I set a normal alarm clock to wake me up instead of my smart phone (since it's locked away) and then I just read until I fall asleep. Also make sure you read fiction instead of something motivational that pumps you up to tackle life. The idea is that you're supposed to get tired after all. Right now I'm reading a book called "Necronomicon" and it makes me fall asleep after about 10-15 pages.

    I had morning routine which was about standing up from bed and go for walk, cold shower, meditation, brekfast -> it worked pretty good. Also blocked the data for safari browser.
    I use meditation on my phone before sleep so I go to bed with my phone closeby only because of it.
    @Primaris Good point about reading stuff that dont pump me up -> I made the mistake the other night and couldnt fall asleep at all.
    @T0mCrus4der thx going to check it out!

    Now my morning routine, and not only that, is completely different because I broke my leg. So I cant move much and doctor said I shouldnt move at all if possible for the first week.
    To be honest I am very frustrated.
    I love sports. I go to gym 4x/week, go for walks daily 1-2times and now I cant do anything.
    I cant even sit behind the computer because I need to have the leg laying so the blood wont go down and it gets better faster that way.

    I think its very easy to become negative and I can observe a bunch of negative emotions.
    I realize now how lucky I was to be healthy and be able to do anything I want without any physical limitations.
    This injury showed me that health is the most imporant thing. I shouldnt take it as granted.
    Now I am actually looking forward for today/wednesday, because I am going to doctor so I will be outside! I could see again the skys, feel the wind, feel the weather. So excited for it.

  19. I relapsed again today. That's, what, the third or fourth time this month? I'm falling back into the five-day cycle that plagued me before I joined the NoFap community. As I was looking back I realized that I've become rather soft, or complacent. I do well for a few days because the urges aren't present, but when they return in force I fold pretty quickly. What I'm going to do is head over to my journal and write out as many reasons as I can think of that PMO is evil.
