I really need to do this!
    Wave of sorrow,
    Do not drown me now:
    I see the island
    Still ahead somehow.
    I see the island
    And its sands are fair:
    Wave of sorrow,
    Take me there.

    Nine is one-tenth of 90! So slowly I creep--10% at a time
When the morning’s freshness has been replaced by the weariness of midday, when the leg muscles quiver under the strain, the climb seems endless, and, suddenly, nothing will go quite as you wish—it is then that you must not hesitate.

I hope it is not too late to join this challenge. It has been really hard to try and quit this addiction on my own so I am hoping that reaching out to others for help and advice on NoFap will keep me PMO free! I know I can make it to 90 days!

Never too late. Start counting your days. Vent when you need to.

  6. Still no urge for me, but it will come sooner or later.

I wanted to share with you how this thing began for me.
I'm not so young anymore (approaching my 50s), and I believe it began when there started to be less occasions for sex with my wife. Her desire decreased a lot with menopause.
I started thinking that I had to find a way to give vent to my desires, and auto-convinced myself that it was even necessary for my health!...
Till I read on these page that it's probably the opposite...

I'd like to know what some of you do when you have an urge? I've watched some videos on ideas that some people have like doing push-ups or going for a walk, but what are some other things that have really worked for you to get rid of that urge to masturbate when it randomly comes?

The NF Companion app has a kind of meditation exercise to do when tempted.

I completed a 24 day streak on June 8--half way there. Hope to go much further!

I believe good sleep habits are helpful. I also find meditation, exercise and socializing are also helpful.

Checking in....back on track despite the relapse....a day abstained is a day gained....I look back and think how just one day is a huge improvement compared to where I was when I started this....I'm taking it one day at a time....let's do this!

    Had to come back here.
Urges are strong today. I blame it on the edging. But, haven't PMO, yet. I was thinking of watching P . Then, I realized it is just the sick bastard talking. And reasoning as to why he wants the dopamine kick.
I won't be feeding that bastard today. Let him starve to death.
I plan to hit the gym and socialize if the urges aggravated.
