It's been a while since I've logged in back again. My longest NoFap streak is 1 week however I've dealt with the porn problems and I think I'm in control. However fapping is another story. Anyone have tips for fighting urges at night??

You're right. You just gotta do what you gotta do.

Laugh at your D and tell it Nope. Avoid all friction. Don't even think about doing it "just a little bit".

I was going to laugh at this, but I've laughed before. Humor can relieve the anxiety and tenseness.

    My advice:
    1. Continue the challenge. If a week is your longest streak, go for one week and one day. Rinse and repeat.
    2. Look at your nighttime habits. Are you getting enough sleep? I say that because when I am tired, I have a tougher time with urges.
    3. Continue your journal.

6th day in my streak. Felt so zoned out the past couple of days. I couldn't concentrate and started making tons of silly mistakes. I screwed up 3 relatively easy tests in school....

I'm feeling confident with this streak though, I have learned from my past mistakes and I won't let that consume me again.

It will make your mind race and not able to concentrate. Only lasts a couple days though. Keep going.

Yes Thanks. I guess I should be celebrating my half way point! How many days are you aiming for?

A 2 week streak at first, then I'll try to fight for 90 days. My main goal is to have full control over my urges.

I relapsed at the 12th day of my two week streak. So close yet so far. It was one of those midnight relapses which I have trouble avoiding. But this relapse surely serves a lesson for the future.

I didn't feel as bad when I relapsed this time and it does not seem my energy has been drained a lot. I think I can hold my urges longer for the next streak now that I have learned my lesson.

Also some benefits I experienced with this 12 day streak:
    • Sharper mind and better focus- my mind was less cloudy (there were some instances where I couldn't focus but it occurred only two times)
    • More confidence- Easier to speak in public (Public speaking is a skill I am losing because of PMO)
    • Less acne
    • Feeling a bit more energetic
If that's what I felt within those few days, I gotta fight for that 90 or more days to fully recover!!

  15. Hope the progress is going steady yukon :)

I'm at my 7th day of my streak, going to my 8th. Almost relapsed today but luckily I fought against my urges.
