    Hey there ;)
I just turned 18 and watched porn since I was 12/13 years old. I never took it as a big problem, of course I watched some videos on YouTube or read articles that said Pornography is unhealthy, still I told myself "yeah man I could stop whenever I want to"... I'm convinced many addicted people think so.

In the beginning I masturbated while just imagining girls, then I began to search on Google for pictures and then I started watching videos or visited video chats.
Well, over the years my interests/ genres turned more extrem, the girls became younger, or older, I vary between more soft pornography but then I want very brutal content that is very near to rape. I need all different kinds of porn to be satisfied and it take so much, much time to find something that satisfy me.

I talk very open about my fantasies, because I have friends that are very accepting, and we really talk about everything without being ashamed. But maybe that is one reason why I never thought of my addiction as a problem... still I am grateful for being able to open myself and also thankful for hopefully joining this community

So why did I think about joining you:
Recently I had the chance to loose my virginity, and you could say I did, but the thing is that my erections have became weaker for a few days before that situation, and now I hadn't had a real erection since my "first time". We still had some fun and enjoyed our time and I'm very lucky because she is very understanding and doesn't judge me for anything.
BUT I started to think about my future sex life. I know that loosing the erection doesn't have to be connected to pornography and it is something most people witness, still I WANT TO QUIT PORN

By telling you my story I'm hoping to be able to keep on track and I would love to hear from people who experienced the same or even completely different stuff... I just realized how wonderful it is to be able to speak about our sexuality including our problems :)

Hello Brother welcome to NoFap community.
Pardon my English as it is not my mother tongue, your weak erection is due to your 5 yrs of porn consumption habit cause it lowers your testosterone level making your erection weaker or it may be because of your other habits like smoking, alcohol(if any).Still I hope you quit your addiction. Peace.

Hey my friend, thanks for being the first person to welcome me in this community. Thanks for your explanation, I also researched a lot to find out what is the reason for my, problem but I can luckily say that smoking our alcohol don't play any role. Again thanks for your support, it means a lot to me

    Here is just some advice:
First and foremost please take a careful look at each section in the forum, there may be something(s) you will find to be of big help to you.

Secondly I advise you to be active on your profile(as there a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then begin posting frequent status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement.
The forum has got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see.
People will find your profile and give you support.

There’s a portion of people who love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive conversations. It would be great to have you join in and become part of the team!
We support others in the threads, profile posts, and journals/reboot logs.
Once you receive some support, please be sure and be grateful to the member for the help/support you received and consider giving some in return to anyone you wish.

Thirdly, you should highly consider creating a public journal/reboot log (in the appropriate sectionfor you) to write about your days in depth for us members to follow along on your journey and offer support to you on.

Please start your journal in the correct section and with that, also try your best to post in the correct sections as it is mandatory and would be helpful to the mods who organize the forum. : )

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
