    Alright, I'm back.

Been a full year since I took up this challenge. Had a few setbacks, but I feel like I'm back in the driver's seat again.

The issue is, I'm angry and irritable, and I think it's because of my high sex drive that I'm consistently putting away. Does anybody have any experience with beginning to masturbate again (no porn, no fantasizing) in a healthy way so that the irritability and whatnot is dealt with?

    That's all.

    Later.

Dude what you're describing is an oxymoron. You can't masturbate and NOT fantasize? I mean if that was possible I'd be stroking one out to a picture of a frog on my computer screen. Once you start it leads to a slippery slope back to ground zero or worse.

This is simply your body telling you, you need sex, a healthy relationship, and this is fine. This is what it is all about. There's nothing wrong in leading a healthy sex life.

If you haven't already you need to start sorting this part of your life out or taking steps to.

Redirect that energy. If you just let it build your gonna be mad. DO SOMETHING. Something active and aggressive preferably. Not masturbation...

I would have thought redirecting energy to helping others or something creative is preferable. Actually, aggressiveness just boosts testosterone - not helpful.

Well, I was thinking more of releasing that primal energy via something primal. To each their own though.

I wouldn't say that the human body "needs sex and a healthy relationship." Natural selection creates a drive toward reproduction, however, that is not properly a "need." If you *just* replace masturbation with girl chasing or a "copulation buddy", you are still enthralled to the same lust. True, it will fix some problems, but it create new, and potentially much worse, problems for yourself.

I am not saying that sex is always bad. However, it will be difficult to have a healthy relationship if you view sex as a "need".
