Stepping into the world of nofap, here goes...

I'm a 21 year old dude, and it's taken a lot for me to get here.

Let me start with the basics;

I discovered my first pornographic video when I was 7 years old, it was left in my old mans VCR and he must have forgotten about it. .

I started masturbating at age 12 properly and I've never stopped.

Since I received a second hand computer at age 14, I've been pretty much hammering 'tube' sited at least once a day, mostly twice a day. Ever since then I've been pretty much hooked on watching porn

I've watched every possible genre, got off to god knows how many videos , images, stories. I've watched porn on almost every capable device I own, at work, home, hotels, friends houses.

I've tried countless times over the years to stop but my longest ever period of non masturbation was about 14 days.

My last relationship lasted 2 years, and it broke down due to a non existent sex life.
Even though I was masturbating regularly (once or twice a day) during the entire relationship I completely lost my libido towards the end. And the sex was pretty much non existent.

Since then it's been hit and miss with girls, my confidence is at an all time low at the minute.

There's a whole host of issues I feel are directly influenced by this, and I feel are affecting me in different ways. All of which is probably too much to go into right now.

I'm at my limit with the current situation and I need to make a change.

Upon researching the nofap project, and the community it's given me some hope I can turn this around.

So here goes my journey, I am going to start and try to reach 30 days. I am still studying the guides and other materials surrounding the community, so please if you can offer any advice then let me know.

....it's taken a lot of guts for me to write and re write this post about 10 times.
