So I’ve been denying myself for a long time that I’ve had a problem - but I reached a couple low points recently- like pmo’ing in the bathroom at Kroger’s while on vacation was pretty low. That and getting a random Snapchat (which I don’t know why I have because I’ve never really used) from a cyber sex worker trying to illicit work from me. I’m 28, happily married- stressed teacher and student. My wife and I want to start a family soon so I want to have this addiction under control before I have kids, especially if I have a daughter.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

Well I’ve started by deleting apps that I used such as Tumblr and Snapchat, then I’ve decided to break my habit of brining my phone into the bathroom with me because that’s usually when I’d pmo. Instead I’m trying to replace my phone with a book - that way I can distract myself from “being bored”.
I’m doing ok so far - but I didn’t realize how addicted I’ve become! This is only day 5 and already it’s been pretty difficult to resist the temptation!

Congrats on your realization about your addiction. I believe it is awesome that you have accepted that you have an addiction and have decided to overcome it. It will be a long tough journey. Be sure to be patient throughout the journey and when you think you are free and clear, never let your guard down. This addiction can be like riding a bike if we let it. I recommend coming up with a plan of action, so when you feel triggered, you can enact it immediately without thinking saving you precious seconds. Also, identify your triggers, which you have done some of that already, congrats on that. Then I recommend starting a journal and keeping track of your progress. Create a set of rules for yourself so you know if you relapse or not and take the bull by the horns and make like reboot what you want it to be. Set a goal and focus on the person that you want to be and that your family deserves to have. Remember, if/when you happen to relapse, don't be hard on yourself, learn from any mistakes, revamp the rules and plan of action and start again. Don't discount any progress that you have made.

Glad to have you here! Stay strong!

Well I make 2 days , I don't know how I did it, I was tempted all day.
Always the same thing for the last 38 years.
Anyway I am not sure this website will help me to get free
    but it worth the try.
