Stop all 3 or just P? Or just PM?

    I have a goal to stop P. I don't know enough about the pros and cons or M or of O. Can someone please educate me and give me some advice? I tend to edge a bit, and it doesn't give me much guilt—what should I make of that?

    First step is the elimination of P. okay. In my situation in more than a year I couldn't get over 19 days of no PMO. My friends could get over months of no P, but they did M. Is it okay to use M to release the urge of watching P?

    Interesting that you mention guilt. Some feel guilt (especially if they are religious) and others don't. It is not important.

    It is also interesting that you have picked the username @TheIdealMan. Well, the ideal man is not the guy that is addicted to masturbation and porn. Why? Because, via artificial means, they have overstimulated the neurotransmitter called dopamine. That's the nub of the problem and what the NoFap challenge is all about. How to do it varies by opinion. Some do hard mode: no edging, no masturbation, no porn (or p/subs - porn substitutes) and no orgasm. This is the quickest and most effective method to enable the brain to heal, rewire itself and finally reboot to 'factory settings'. If you stop porn but continue masturbating, progress will be much slower because you are still getting dopamine surges. I also need to stress that edging is the worst thing you can do. You would release far more dopamine doing this than to just masturbate and cum. Some have tried reducing what they do. But the majority believe "cold turkey" to work best...

    Sadly I can't watch those videos right now. My name is to symbolise the idea of discovering how I can be the best man to my own personal scale, but not to become perfect because I know that is impossible.
