Got free time on my hands (well...relatively, but yeah) and I want to invest that time into reading some material that you guys personally think has helped you the most.

There's a lot of titles out there, but I'd rather have your takes on them based on experience.

I'm more interested in core confidence material and all that, but feel free to post any title that has helped you out.

I've already read Dale Carnagie's How to win friends and influence people. That stuff is timeless. And golden.

PS: I know this question may have been asked before, but times change and diversity is always good.

The Language of Emotions, Karla McLaren. Taught me to identify what emotions I'm feeling and how to manage them. Has changed my life. (I went on to read another of hers, called The Art of Empathy, which taught me how to not get caught up in other people's emotions, something I do very easily.) It's not easy reading her stuff, she doesn't write in a neat, logical manner. I'd only recommend it if you ever feel emotionally shut-down and are prepared to have a good think about your life.

The Power of Habit: Charles Duhigg

I've only just started reading it, but it looks pretty interesting, and I guess it does have some potential application for what this site is all about.

I actually JUST finished this book. It was pretty great ... but where it REALLY got good (and relevant for us fapstonauts) is in the last chapter and in the afterword stories that followed.

  5. How to be a %3 man - By Corey Wayne

It's the best book on dating and how to approach it, that I have read. It's not just a stupid book about dating, but it's also psychological and goes into why women sometimes flake, over coming neediness and remaining centred as a man. It's got A LOT of good information in there. A must read for every man.

Interesting ... I just spent some time on the guy's website. I would have LOVED his stuff when I was single. Now, I have to be a little more careful. His stuff on "how to date multiple women" and "how to seduce and get a woman into bed" just stirred up a part of me that I'm trying to calm down.

I totally agree with what he says about being able to walk away and mean it. I wish I'd done that SO many times. Definitely good info.

From what I think I'm hearing there are three books that come to mind.
The Success Principles by Jack Canfield - Great book that covers a lot and gives you assignments.
Creating Money by Sanaya Roman (More of a meditate for what you want)
Guilt is the Teacher Love is the Lesson Joan Borysenko

Thanks everyone for the other posts! I love to read and learn and will look up the other titles here.
