Supportive GF

    My girlfriend and I of almost a year are working together to fight our porn addictions. I knew for the longest time that porn was going to ruin relationships, but it came from my conservative family, so I chose to put that comment in the back of my head. When my gf and I started dating, i was not watching porn. I stopped for about four-five months, but I found myself on a porn site. She did not know until last week. She was the one who introduced me to NoFap, and it has been amazing! She has been super supportive of me even though I was a bit hesitant towards NoFap. I hope to quit watching porn cold turkey and find my connection with myself and with my gf. I also hope that the relationship between my gf and me grows stronger during this journey.

    I hope you find the renewed connection with your girlfriend. I think it is wonderful that she is supportive and that you are willing to take that step towards having a porn free mind/life! My best to you.
    And just ignore the douchebags around here that have a brain of an 8 year old. Porn does that to dudes who have been PMO'ing for years and they are blind to their own foolishness and misogyny.

    Good for you man and I hope you can quit it for ever, your GF sounds like a very supportive person and that's something precious. Also I understand having doubts about Nofap but there's a lot of very helpful people around just focus on healing yourself and your relationship and hopefully you'll find help here whenever you need it.
