Testosterone Supplemenation

Discussion in 'Nutrition and Supplements' started by Deleted Account, Apr 28, 2020.

  1. Just curious- as a result of low testosterone, has anyone here had their doctors supplement them?
I'm having my testosterone levels tested. Just wanted to to see what anyone else thought.

(not talking about dirty Test from the locker room at the y. legit low test resulting in a perscription from your doctor)

You're right to be concerned about your T. Average levels among men are at an all time low and there are T killers in much of what we eat, put on our bodies and literally in the air we breathe.

It's really important that a man has a doctor, whether male or female, who gets this. A few years ago I went to my (male) Dr for a T test. It came back around 300. He said that for my age (51 at the time) I was "just fine." I knew from how my body looked and felt (skinny-fat, low energy, ED, alcohol cravings), and my own research, that 300 was NOT fine. I wasn't looking to get T injections but the way he approached it made it very clear he would not have prescribed them and I lost some respect and trust for him that day. The good news is it prompted me to totally revamp my diet and take up a pretty aggressive (for my age) running and weightlifting regimen that has made a big difference in how I look and feel.

I would say do your research on healthy levels of T, the things that can lower it, and do as much as you can lifestyle wise to keep it up. And have a doctor who is in the 21st century on men's health issues at the ready if you need one.

  3. Thank you man. That's good to know. I'm 29 and i feel completely exhausted most of the time. I would exercise but not matter what i did, heavy low volume, light high volume... i would put on some weight (because I was eating alot) but the muscle wasn't coming like one would think. My motivation is low. Everything. Every symptom of Low Test I have.
    It could also be depression.
I'm getting the results back tomorrow. I will update then!

  4. 16.9 nmole/liter

    This is normal

  5. I'm thinking perhaps you just weren't patient enough. Building muscle takes surprisingly long (especially say smaller muscles like the biceps). Also consistent sleep is an underrated remedy.

  6. If I told you how long I've been going to the gym you'd be pretty disappointed in me lol

  11. i'll look into a bit. i'm mostly skeptical of these types of supplements. a friend of mine who was a competing body builder told me anything that actually works isn't legal.
ive read reports where theyre spiked with viagra to make you think its giving you vitality but all it is is a little twist of blue pill lol.
    Hopefully this one is good.

  12. read up about it just now. sounds interesting. its also not difficult to get from small changes in your diet.

grapes, raisons, nuts, fruits, lentils, and beans are all good sources.

    thanks for the tip brother
