Hey everyone! Sorry it has been a long time. Very crazy things have gone down in my life including the finalization of selling a business I co-founded and built. I am now part of a new company and in charge of overseeing some large areas of the US and growing things further to eventually sell again. It was a huge relief although still a lot of pressure to produce now which is fine. My wife and I got a nice pay out and I received a bunch of stock which is great if all goes to plan. So what does this mean? Technically I am now a millionaire (although not by a huge amount in cash/non stock assets) and I no longer have to be afraid of some things happening since my family will be ok. While that is great the strange thing is I don’t feel all that different. I still see myself as someone who needs to do more and accomplish things in life. Breaking this habit is probably the most immediate of the things I truly want to accomplish. The dopamine junky lifestyle that I was one of the first to be sucked into has done nothing but hold me back and I still am fighting it. It’s so crazy to even type that out and it needs to stop. So I have turned back on all the tricks and habits I did before when I hit my personal streak highs. You see it doesn’t matter what you accomplish in life if you still aren’t doing your best. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday instead of others around you. In that endeavor I have a lot further to go but damn it I am going to fight. Good luck friends!
