Yea its normal. Ive had it a few times as well. Its part of it. At this point in my streak, the cravings and urges are not present for a few days and then they come in full force for a full day or hours. I usually try to do some kind of physical activity when I get huge urges. I heard in a video that its your brain trying different techniques to try to get you to relapse. First its some cravings and urges, and the further you get into the streak they come in huge waves. I havent fully rebooted so I cant tell you from experience that it will go away, but I have noticed its gotten easier for me to control my urges and crazy mood swings. It will get easier

    Day 5- I’m Still Alive

I’m still breathing. I’m still facing each and every day.

A huge part of my addiction is anxiety. These past five days my anxiety gets so bad it physically cripples me into sudden mini-5 minute panic attacks, and that’s where I want to revert back to PMO to cope my that feeling go away.

My longest streak I’ve ever had is 37 days. I cannot even remember how I felt after those days and I want to get back to that feeling.

    Stay strong brothers.

yes, I have and I believe we all experience this at some point in our journey.

what I have done the last five days is to just put my phone on the charger and walk away from it. If I’m on my phone I’m more more prone to relapse and get curious. When it’s really bad, I pray/meditate and that helps tremendously. Even a walk around the block clears my head, or turn on my stereo in the garage and rage out to pantera, slayer etc. something to purge the urges.

hope all that helps. Stay strong brother.

surely i have experienced on that , urge spiked out out of nowhere but last time i choose to give up and relapse

    Dont be like me

U can cool it down By simply walking away from your computer / mobile phone. Take a small walk in your area and its away

    Day 6.

I feel clearer now, not as anxious. I still have waves of it but it’s not as crippling as the weekend made me. If I make it to Friday i’m sure I will be good for a bit.

Today, I've MO'ed. I feel dissappointed that I have been set back from my ultimate goal, but not ashamed. It was as a result of really high testosterone levels. In the last 22 days, I really put my blood, sweat and tears and it paid off. I had never reached that far before. I hope to do the same again. I feel I have grown in many ways, and have developed more self-discipline. I am worried though, because whenever something like this has happened, it is the calm before the storm. I hope to stay strong in the coming days, that I don't PMO. (I don't have urges to watch porn, but past experience tells me to stay aware; Possibly "Chase Effect" type thing) I have reset my day counter, and hope to get even further. I hope to continue all the tactics that worked in the last 22 days, and try some new ones.
I wish all the best for everyone else. I have shown myself if you can put your mind to it, it can be done. And so can all of you.

(IDK if this is TMI, but the O I had was the best I felt in ages lol. I have had the first normal sexual fantasies in possible months or even a year! I think that proves testament that NoFap definitely helps your brain heal, and it CAN be done. You CAN defeat porn addiction.)

For those interested, This is what I did to get to Day 22:
    -Cold Shower EVERY day
-Get into a proper exercise routine, understand your body type and metabolism, and diet properly
(Money has been tight, so not the optimal diet, but I do my best)
-Log in to NoFap every day and post your day in whatever challenge(s) you are partaking in
-Someone here shared something called "The 3 Second Rule"; basically, if you see an attractive girl/guy (however you swing), look, admire, move on. As I have been socializing more and getting out more, it has been really helpful.
-Most urges have been small in the last 22 days, and what helped was to ignore it and quickly find a distraction.
-KEEP YOURSELF BUSY. Learn a new skill, Keep your mind stimulated.
-Instead of trying to drown out your anxiety/depression/pain, try and work through it. Do things that can make it better, make small steps to work towards your dreams. One day at a time.
-MAKE SURE YOU SPEAK UP. Spread the message, this is not just for porn addiction. If you don't speak about your problems, you can't get help for it.

Best of luck for everyone here!
