Day 27 done. Had a good time at my friend’s birthday party today and got plenty of sun. Don’t usually drink beer but we were at a brewery so I enjoyed some. Definitely feeling it now but glad that I was able to have some good fun with people I haven’t seen in a while. Gratitude is something we all need to try to keep in mind. Stay strong everyone!

Day 29 complete and I am exhausted. Cut up and split a bunch of firewood today before we went to my dad’s for dinner. I spent hours outside working to get the trees we had taken down last week ready to be stacked but felt accomplishment afterwards. Don’t be afraid to put yourself through a tough and unusual physical experience. It’s a sure way to keep your mind away from old vices. Stay strong Spartans!
