Welcome Warriors to the 4 AM CLUB This fight club is to reignite the fire in us, to unleash our true potential. Unlike the Real Chuck’s Fight Club, this one has only three rules. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club! The third rule is: Join only if you’re in. Changing life habits isn’t easy, so don’t expect drastic changes in your life at first. It’s going to be very hard, this isn’t a pleasant and an easy feat to achieve. But, once you surpass those feelings and phase, I bet the feeling would be one of the best and those extra hours will empower you to hyper-focus and achieve a lot more. It’s easy to join. Just post the time daily, see what hinders the progress, observe, take actions and see the magic. It might take a lot of time to reach there but remember you don’t back out. There will be time when you won’t feel like continuing, but those are the days that really count. Post the time you wake, regardless of anything. Reach your full potential. You’ll see yourself transform. I’ve given a general outline of the phases this journey usually involves (with ballpark timeline). PHASE 1: THE INSOMNIAC Week1 PHASE 2: THE BELIEVER Week 2-3 PHASE 3: THE DISCOVERER Week 4-5 PHASE 4: THE INDUCTEE Week 6-8 PHASE 5: The Member Week 8-10 PHASE 6: THE BOSS Week 10-12 PHASE 7: THE NARRATOR Congratulations, Tyler is proud of you. Be humble, be productive. Unleashing your true potential widens the scope of your vision. Good luck, Chuck bids adieu. Health Advisory NOTE: Please do not join in case this messes up your daily routine or health. You may consider consulting a doctor before joining. Rest is up to you, it worked for me and Tyler. I made this post to document my time and concrete the habit. See ya. Farewell.
Glad to have you onboard, warrior. Just remember the trio rules (rest all is free to do). This is an excursion to develop better habits and utilize our time more, not caring recklessly and harnessing our true potential. The phases represent the stages which one develops when they fulfil the tasks (in this case, the task of waking up early i.e., 0400 HRS). Feel free to modify the time if it collides with your routine. Along with the phases there is a general timeline but it is not strictly applied. You remain in one phase until you are able to advance to the other (by at least maintaining the general timeline or as long as it takes for you to feel comfortable). For instance, I'm inching closer to my 4am goal hour by hour daily but I am still not in control of the time (since I couldn't keep up the jig for 1 week straight). The moment I stick to the routine for 1 week (as given in the general timeline), I'll advance to the next phase. Type your phase along with the date (post the time if ya want to) daily to keep track of your progress. ___________________________________________________________________________ “You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will ever need in my life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect bed. The drapes. The rug. Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you.”
