    I couldn't fall asleep last night initially and had some fairly strong urges. I edged slightly but didn't give in to full PMO. I made sure to not pick up my phone or turn on my laptop. I walked to the kitchen and around my bedroom a few times and the urges faded.

    A younger version of me would have likely binged under similar circumstances. There are still quite a few milestones to reach but I'm cautiously optimistic and encouraged about the progress I've made in the past year. As with everything, covid has thrown a wrench in my recovery plan but I've been adapting and will continue to adapt along the way.

    For some reason I thought the next level was day 60.
    I'm on day 36 without an O and day 57 without M (I did have a couple of O's early on with my gf) but . . . I did look at porn a few times, now.
    My primary goal is no M. Avoiding O's (aka semen retention, practicing karezza) is something I also strive for. Porn will eventually lead to M and MO, so obviously not the best choice.
    Not sure if I qualify for "Initiate" since I did look at some porn / p-subs. I'd welcome feedback from you and others in the challenge, as I don't want to disrespect the spirit of the Batman Challenge.

    Thank you for sharing your concern and seeking advice from our Bat Family! Your intentions are good and we all battle desire, even in the form of substitutes. I personally believe that if you did not act on the substitutes or the exposure, then you applied self-control and self-awareness. You know as well as I do that short or long exposure can be devastating though.

    Think of it like a Lazarus Pit; it may make you feel rejuvenated in the moment, but the long-term effects will turn your mind mad.
    Do not join the League of Assassins. Do not kill your code.

  13. I have changed my signature to "initiate". I'm really struggling with porn right now, but if I'm not careful I will soon slip with MO and be back at day 0, anyway.
    Life has dealt me a hard blow lately, but I can get through this if I focus on doing what I need to do rather than keeping my head in the sand and trying to escape with porn. Grateful for the support that is coming out of the bat cave.

    i gave in to viewing P, i did not O but i watched P an did some touching, the P viewing overstimulated my brain so i know that im not happy with an i was tired an cranky today cause it kept me up late last night, back to zero:eek:

    I relapsed last night and this morning. At 25 days, this was the best streak I've had in a while but I was still too permissive with myself and peeked and edged a couple of times throughout which finally led to my downfall. While I'm disappointed right now, I'm planning on using this lesson to be more vigilant towards urges and to proactively avoid PMO.

  18. Haven't looked at porn in several days now even though it's right there on my phone, a click away. And, still not doing it, even though life has dealt me some hard blows lately and my stress level is very high.

    What I want most is karezza with my girlfriend and I see that as a really positive sign! :)

    I relapsed again about an hour and a half ago. Feeling fairly down and depressed right now. I'm getting back in the groove of replacement habits like cooking, exercising, and reading but not as quickly as I would like. One less than helpful habit that I do is over-dwelling on my failures and beating myself up for past mistakes. I need to be better at letting things go.

    Here's a video that makes me feel kinda better. I hope it can do the same for you.
