In the past two months I have been meditating on a regular basis, and it has worked wonders! One learns that the mind is the cause of much of your stress/depression. It has helped me with my social anxiety, porn addiction, and questions about life by teaching me to observe my thoughts rather than resist them. It has uncomfortable moments and takes concentration, but I feel much more relaxed and content. For anyone interested, Aaron Doughty has some great videos on YouTube! If you’re willing to pay, Headspace is a beautiful app (what I use), but I think either one will work. If anyone has any ideas/experiences with meditation, I’d love to hear them!
