The Case of Using Band-aids and Journal

Around 2 years ago, I started covering up the sensitive part of my penis with band-aid every time I'm going to sleep or whenever I'm at home after 12 PM. The reason I'm doing this is the band-aid could act as a reminder that I shouldn't be masturbating. I usually masturbate when I'm supposed to sleep or take a nap. The band-Aids are sometimes difficult to peel off, however if you're erect and the pre-cum start coming out, the pre-cum would weaken the adhesive, making it easier to peel off and for me to start beating my meat again. Before Band-Aids, I simply used a transparent duct tape. Then I realized the adhesive from the tape is probably harmful to my penis, which is why I switched to Band-Aids.

Then I stopped, for some reason. I think it's because I wasted a lot of Band-Aids and that would make people in my house suspicious. Besides, I can't keep buying a new box of band-aids every month. Are used band-aids safe for the environment? I don't want to pollute the environment.

Anyway, I just relapsed a few hours ago. It's been a month since the last time I was able to get past the 10 days mark. I think I will start using the Band-aids again. Just like the old days. They act as a restraint. I mean, sure. If I'm too horny to think straight, I could easily remove the Band-Aid. But they could at least serve as a reminder of the fight I'm currently taking.

I also started writing a report journal. With a book and a pen. There is something gritty and memorable when you actually write down those words compared to typing on your gadgets. The journal was supposed to keep me accountable, and now I'll have to write my first relapse report in the journal.

What do you guys think? Are Band-Aids the right solution for this? Also, do you have any ideas for me to improve my journal?

I can %100 agree with the journal since I do the same,. But the band-aids..idk it's a bit strange. Whatever works for you I guess.

Do you have any specific structures in your journal? Like the opening, middle, and closing?

Band aid idea is inspired I think. Biodegradable band-aids do exist, but you might have to order them online. The extra cost might be easier to bear if you buy them in bulk I guess!

No not... Really... Its just stream of consciousness. Usually if I learn something new that day I'll write it down. I write down my goals. And also how relapse feels so that I can remember for the future. There is no need for structure.. it shouldn't be a burden.. just a way to write down your thoughts so you can solidify them, remember them, and better understand yourself.
