The Day I Started Kicking Butt

    Hello,:D

    I'm pursuing my own goals: recovering from porn addiction and eating disorder recovery.

    I'm going to block specifics, to avoid triggering anyone.


    Some ground rules:

    1. I eat maximum X Calories daily, and no less that X-50 Calories.
    2. I can eat out, but only with someone else and only once a week maximum. Even then, I stick to ordering a single menu item. Eating out doesn't count towards Calories.
    3. I don't count calories from exercise.
    4. I post a journal entry at least once a week, ideally daily.
    5. No Porn or Masturbation. Since I'm not interested in dating right now, that also means no Orgasm either.
    6. Once I complete 365 days of this, I may revisit these rules and review what choices I think are best for me.

    My journey begins at 12:01am, August 5th, 2020.

    Let's kick butt. ;)

    Today I went for a morning run for the first time in a while.

    I've been walking for a quite a few months, but I wanted to go further today.

    Today I woke up feeling sore as hell from my running; it's the kind of sore that let's you know that you're a total bad-ass. "Hey, my legs might be on fire, but that just makes me even cooler."

    Sometimes I feel an urge to PMO but it's nothing I can't deal with.

    Been doing some digging into assertive communication.

    I'm totally kicking butt. A toast to more to come!

    Running is becoming natural as I get used to the pounding of the road, which is sweet to think about.

    I've been trying my hand at cooking and am getting the hang of seasonings, after a few initial missteps.

    I used a power pose at my job today and I felt like wonder woman; I think I'm going to keep that one around for future use.

    I'm looking into starting a nonfiction reading habit. I liked the information I found on assertive communication and I figure it'll pay off in the long run.

    Been thinking about getting a gym membership.

    Lately I've been thinking less about my weight and more about my habits, and my self esteem is soaring!
