Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great Sunday! This is where you can find posts under the Forums section of the group page. Up to this point no one has used it, but I'm curious to see if we can get it to catch on. Thanks!

Anyone have a suggestion for what content should go here?

I'm thinking stuff that would be helpful for LDS members and a "Mormon" take on NoFap (note: some of these could easily be their own threads, etc.):

    1. "Real talk Sunday school": stuff we wish we could ask in Sunday school about repentance, sin, addiction, relationships, etc. but are too embarrassed to do otherwise. There would have to be moderators and rules for this one, for sure.
    2. Gospel, Church Resource Synergy: this would be a good place to synchronize/merge NoFap and LDS material into being companion resources. LDS 12 step recovery, Conference Talks, scriptures, etc. can help provide true insight to some of the things used on this site unlike anything else; we have a distinct advantage here!
    3. Making this our own: Our own quotes, memes, and support unique to our religion and circumstances. What we wish to say to everyone else that's both a Latter-day Saint and having trouble with pornography.

I actually really like that. How to hold onto the iron rod. Also, that can be relatively "static" content considering overall participation hasn't been all that high this past year or so.

Threads as topics would probably be easiest so it's clearer to newcomers what is going on, and easier to find a thread about a topic that's troubling or of interest to them.

I agree. If we have ideas for big topics/generalizations, they can be under its own forum tab in the group. I think this will be analogous to jumping into the pool; as soon as just a few people jump in and invite good dialogue, a lot more people will participate and hopefully benefit.
