The Internet and the human nature

The title isn't that accurate, I don't know how to describe it in a single sentence.

You know, that theres loads of porn and sexual content on the internet.You can watch/listen/see everything you want, a teenage boy has most likely seen more private parts of a women in one week than his grandpa did in his whole life.

Not only that, theres every type of entertainment on the internet.You can watch shows, movies, listen to podcasts and all types of music, download everything you want, see it whenever you want, and its all for free.Well it's not legal most of the time but who cares?Theres so much help advice and knowledge on the internet that you can be quite educated just by reading some letters on your mobile, or it seems so at least.

The internet has also a dark side, as I mentioned there's lot of sexual content and some of it is really disturbing, I don't go into detail, you know whats my point.

You can even watch real people suffer and die if you want to, you don't even have to go into the dark net for it.

So, what's the point of this whole Thread?
The things that I described showed perfectly that even if our (western) society is wealthy, acts morally and progressed, the basic instincts and dark sides of human soul are still there, no matter how educated and civilized you are.

Things like he desire to see gore and blood, the lust and all that comes with it are hiding in everyone of us.Pure souls are very rare, the human fantasy has a dark shadow which is coming along with it.

It fascinates me how the internet changed all and nothing, I think one can write a book about this topic, I just wanted to bring it up for the moment.

The Internet is great in my opinion, primarily if you use it in moderation.People can come together in the internet and help each other, the NoFap Community is a wonderful proof for that.

But I think its for example harder to live a year without the Internet than PMO, only because you look so many things up/write messages et cetera, not to forget the big entertainment that I mentioned.
