Welcome to the Jedi Order

A darkness has arisen in the galaxy. Porn has invaded nearly every system in the galaxy and ruined countless lives. Recently, an order of dark lords has arisen to combat this darkness, but they believe that the darkness of porn can only be defeated by countering it with a darkness of their own - the power of the dark side. We at the Jedi Temple follow a different path, that of the light side. We believe that porn can only be defeated through the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. Servants of the light side must be disciplined, keep their passions in check, and not give in to the seductive allure of the dark side. Join our ranks and we will fight this darkness together.

You will achieve different ranks as you progress along your journey, culminating in your ascension into the Mortis pantheon.

Here are the rules:

  • No viewing of pornography. If you break this rule, you must start your training over.
  • Porn substitutes (or p-subs) are strongly discouraged. However, whether or not you restart your training after viewing a p-sub is up to you.
  • No masturbation (this includes edging). If you break this rule, you must start your training over.
  • Sexual intercourse with your romantic partner is allowed.
Here are the rankings:

(0-6 days) Youngling

May the Force be with you!
(Note: No offence to the members of the Road to the Dark Lord of the Sith Challenge is intended. It's all in fun. We're all in this together. And thank you to @Daxos for the idea! Hope you don't mind. ;) )

Marcus Aurelius,

As a Dread Master and by that, an adviser to the Emperor himself, I want to inform that the Empire does not view the Jedi as a threat.
The Sith recognize that we face an enemy beyond our powers - PMO. Although we were enemies during the Great Hyperspace War and the Great Galactic War, we have to come to the conclusion that a truce will serve us best to defeat PMO. The Dark Council of the Sith Order thereby suggests an alliance, until the forces of PMO are destroyed.

May the force guide and free us.

We at the Jedi Temple have come to the same conclusion, though not without hesitation. The Sith and the Jedi have been sworn enemies for nearly a thousand generations, but perhaps the threat of PMO is great enough that it justifies joining forces until we have brought it to its end.

May the Force be with us all.

OMG, I’m a sucker for anything STAR WARS! Count me in, please.

Where do I start? Is it day zero from here, or does my current 9 days of PMO count?
Welcome @staticboy. For this challenge, you start at zero.

Two questions for everyone:

1) Did you guys see the new trailer for The Rise of Skywalker? Looks like we're going to have a pretty sweet space battle.

2) Is there a particular time of the day that you feel most tempted to relapse? If so, do you have any counter measures in place?

For me, as soon as I wake up and right before I go to bed are the worst times. I run in the mornings to burn away the sexual energy that I wake up with and I pray in the morning and at night. I've also decided to keep away from my laptop during those times. When I wake up, I get up. When I go to bed, I read.

Day 1
Thanks @Marcus Aurelius :)

Answers:

1) Yes! OMG, I'm so excited. I've loved all the new STAR WARS films. Sod all the negative stuff the critics have been saying. I've been a fan since I was 5 years old!

2) Late afternoon for me. General low point in the day. I too have a run in the morning to burn off the "sexual energy", and I'll hit the gym in the evening around 8-9pm to do the same (physical exhaustion is great PMO suppressant as well being good for your body!), but mid/late-afternoon I'm tired, hungry and pushing through to the end of the working day. Problem is my work is sat at a laptop. Temptation, temptation...

Yes, being tired and hungry is a bad combination when you're fighting off a porn addiction. Late nights studying or completing assignments was rough for me last year. If there's a question or concept that my brain is not understanding, the temptation to say "Screw it!" and start fapping to porn is very high. I'm not looking forward to starting to face that again next week.

The plus side is how our struggle against porn forces us to be more active. I can pretty confidently say I wouldn't have gotten as much exercise as I have for the past two years if I wasn't trying to fight off urges.
