Being stricter with yourself may help you too, but by calling some of these actions a relapse versus a reset could cause you to binge because you feel like you failed completely. It is semantics, but it is your choice.

I second the notion of distinguishing between a full-blown relapse and a minor slip-up. Slip-ups need to be taken seriously because, like I said earlier, they are the first step to total relapse. That said, the problem I have had with considering p-subs or other minor mistakes relapses is that my mind will tell me that, if this is a relapse, I may as well fap to some porn while I'm at it. I find that very hard to resist.

I needed to read this, you have really helped me in my perspective, thank you very much. I like your way of thinking and its my sincere intention to look at nofap in this way too

My boundaries

Touching my penis for anymore than 3 seconds = relapse (except for peeing and washing)

Going into chatrooms = relapse

Sexual YouTube videos = relapse

Pornographic pictures = relapse

So I have my counter from NoFar, and I also keep track of my last porn and my last masturbation relapses. You can see it if you look directly below my counter in my signature, I believe

I think two counters is a good idea. In the past I've reset my Jedi Temple rank for minor mistakes and left my NoFap counter as is.
