Just like you I was suffering from relapses, lack of motivation, feeling guilty and Extreme Negativity, though that I'm totally lost...

I was so hopeless and addicted that I didn't go to my classes, didn't do homework, didn't care to do anything except fapping and feeling pity and guilty afterwards, that I was going to become broke, and my home will be a garbage dump, but just that day when I was feeling guilty

    But this changed my life:

I realised how much I liked music and how much pleasure did listening to music gave me (I had stopped listening to music altogether) , it made me ambitious and happy. And it was so addictive and soothing when I had my iPod with me when I was 13, but it stopped working a couple of years ago and I thought of buying another just because of the pleasure it could give me, I couldn't really afford one easily, but nonetheless I compromised my daily expenses for it, and I thought it would be just like all the things I had in my mind for stopping fapping, just after fapping, though none of them worked.

But this time, it was the best feeling to hear great quality music and I got myself addicted to it so much that I couldn't even imagine a single girl/porn any time of the day (except my crush) and it's been 14 days ( a lot for me) with nofap, I realised now that the best way (the only way for me) to stop an addiction is to start another one(that doesn't do harm), and today I realised music stimulates same amount of dopamine as cocaine.

    * The second thing I've done is sleep early, (it is proven that sleeping late in the night promotes masturbation related activities).

    * I've left all my bad habits, like procrastination, etc, this helped a lot.

Earlier I got aroused just by watching my phone beside me, or any random video (anything!) But now I like to stay away from explicit content, and it doesn't arouse me. I only get turned on only by real humans now.

So if you like music and you've stopped listening to good/nostalgic music due to everyday work and stress, you should try it.
And just about every other (positive) addiction that isn't harmful will get you away from the thoughts about porn. All the best for your journey! Hope this helps.

I never heard about the whole going to bed late thing. I believe it though. It’s always that time when the urges are the worst.

I’m glad to see someone beating their addiction though. It gives me hope for the future.
