    Day 1

I hung out with someone new today, we got along super super well and ended up talking for a good few hours, so hopefully I can talk to her more in the future. Admittedly, a couple of times today I caught myself searching for triggers but I managed to stop myself.

I thankfully don't get them (although I get a lot of relapse dreams), but people don't consider wet dreams a relapse as you are not at all in control of it. You're definitely not a fraud and fighting hard.

    7 days.

Did a lot of walking (without music, podcast or similar) and qigong practice yesterday. In the afternoon, I went to a coffee place by myself and studied some statistics for an hour, mostly for fun. After that, I got some takeaway thai-food and watched an old David Lynch movie in the evening. Basically a slow day all by myself with lots of self care, it felt very good. :)

Day 272 no PMO. I’m on vacation with my family so it should be a good week but I will also get bored and will need to stay focused to not have a relapse. I have relapsed on this trip before.

    Checking in Fellowship!!! :)

i´m getting better from the flu, but i still feel shivers in the body and my throat hurts, so it´s better not catch low temperatures. one more day in the house, that´s 3 in a row :D. i hope tomorrow i´ll be better and get back to work. and back to the cold showers, i miss that power!! :)

today, i´m getting light again, just doing my thing, but i´ll also clean and organize the house ;).

Here´s an encouraging excerpt from "your brain on porn", page 76.

Checking out brotherhood!! Love you all :)

    "Exercise, beneficial stressors

Of all the techniques rebooters experiment with, exercise seems to be the most universally
beneficial. It's an excellent distraction from urges, also improves self-confidence and fitness,
and is even associated with better erectile function in men under 40.[164]

Exercise is a solid mood regulator. Scientists surmise that it can help ease addiction because
acute bouts of exercise increase dopamine concentrations, and regular exercise leads to
sustained increases in dopamine and related adjustments.[165] This helps counteract the
chronically low dopamine signalling that haunts recovering addicts before their brains reboot.
[166] Here are comments from two people:

I cannot overemphasize the importance of push-ups. They are always accessible, and take
only thirty seconds or so to do a good 20. They will get your heart pumping, and will divert
your body's attention away from those urges almost instantly. If urges still linger, do sets with
a few seconds break, until your arms feel like they'll fall off. Then you'll be in the clear.
    *
Lift weights. It helps. If you’re feeling self-conscious use the machines instead of free
weights. The staff at the gym will help you if you have no idea how to use the machines.
Exercise is known as a ‘beneficial stressor’. That is, by stressing your system slightly it
causes it to respond with enhanced feelings of wellbeing. Some rebooters report that beneficialstressors,
in general, can be very helpful in resetting the brain's sensitivity to pleasure. Visit
www.gettingstronger.org for articles and research about the physiology behind exercise,
intermittent fasting, daily cold showers, and so forth.

The latter were once laughed off as a mainstay of Victorian theorists of manliness, but daily
cold showers get rave reviews from many who seek a quick route to restoring lost willpower
and increasing emotional equilibrium. Cold showers have even been proposed as a potential
    medical treatment for depression.[167]

I'm on an 81-day streak right now, taking the coldest showers I can. My desire to escape is
strong, but I resist, and walk out of the shower like I'm the king of the world.

Remember, it’s about finding what works for you. If a cold shower improves your mood, and
makes you less tempted to waste time slumped in front of a computer, then it is useful, especially
when your body is struggling with withdrawal. It’s not a good idea to overdo anything, but you
    knew that already."

2 Days, feeling pretty great. Uni exams are getting more and more close but I'm glad I'm taking some time for myself to meditate with long tea sessions. The more stressed I am, the more I seek out faster and cheaper ways to take my mind off the real world.

  15. Day 6, I've been suffering from urges all day and I had to sleep them off.

    Day 5,

Hello all and I hope that the upcoming holiday week is good for you all.

Had a rough go and getting back on the horse. I have been running more and purchased a fitbit.

Also, even though it is not the most productive habit replacement, Halo Infinite is out and I feel that spending time there is better than spending time on P.

    Best to you all Fellowship.

    Day 2

Hung out with that person from yesterday again, she lives in New Zealand (13 hours ahead of me) so we can only hang out either in the morning or at night, it sucks but it is what it is. I did admittedly had a few moments again today where I went fishing for triggers (which obviously resulted in some urges) but luckily I was able to stop myself each time. Other than that, I've been feeling a little better for the past couple of days, I'm actually dealing with urges quite well again, but now I'm just hoping it stays like this and isn't just a random temporary buff I'm getting during this winter.
