0 days >> Nazgûl (You were once a man, a King, now fallen to the power of PMO)

Now I know how a Nazgûl feels :(

Thanks for the advice @devsMind . I moved that part to my signature. Let's hope it will work. Or, no, it DOES work because I enjoy restricting myself.

@til_im_free I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope he will have not much pain and lives many more years :emoji_pray:

    Hey everyone.

Been on here before as Gandalf the White, had to create a new account, was not able to recover my old one.

    Starting fresh, Day 1.

    Hey! Day 5!

Still not recovered from my overload - exercising patience about that.
I had no PMO urges though.

I can feel the anabolic drug administred by dr Saruman starting to make my muscles grow. Soon I will greet thee with something like Uruk "Hi!".

Not only wise words, but also adequate to my situation, good chance that thinking those through can save from some 3week+ relapses-Thanks!
Tricky part here is that I live in a big city and I don’t want to resign from that. Still I am certainly not a sage monk, especially in not fapping… :D

I will try to redirect my attention somewhere else-for at least that next 1-2months. It’s kinda overkill but I guess that to grow quickly one sometimes needs to take extreme actions and greatly reduce possible temptation-especially that at least for now my internet temptations are limited as much as I could think of. Cheers!

Day 15 today. First day as a Hobbit as part of the challenge. Day 15 reminds me of the Spongebob episode where Mr. Krabs keeps the Krusty Krab open for 24 hours. "DAY 15! GIVE IT UP FOR DAY 15!"

    Checking in Fellowship!!

A bit tired today and foggy, but not bad, i had worst :D. sorry for not checking yesterday but i had a very tiring working day. so busy that porn was the last thing on my mind :D

Much calmer today and smoother ;).

My AP has slipped after 6 months sober, here´s some important insights he had.

Checking out brotherhood. Have a great day!!! ;)

"I needed this relapse. I am feeling much much better because of it. Not only because my brain is trying to trick me into feeling good after relapse so I can do it again, no.

I needed to see that there is no perfect streak and to accept that. I am not losing or gaining anything with any number of the days in the streak. The point is to improve my life, and my life is improved a lot.

I also needed the realization that some issues will not solve themselves on the 200th day or 500 days. Nothing magical happens on high day marks. Issues will be resolved if I work on them. And sexual tension, and urges are something that I will have for the rest of my life, something I will need to learn to live with it.

I have insane urges the second day in a row, last night again insomnia. And I have a positive feeling about the future.

I am not perfect, and I accept that."

I lost my grandpa last year and my grandma quite a number of years prior to different types of cancer. I'm sorry to hear. I still don't think I ever really processed that right...

And back to day 0! Damn, being on NoFap really gets your dreams to come true, doesn't it? :). Indeed, as I prophecized, the timeframe changes and circadian rhythm taking a huge toll, have proven to be a huge deterrent in the mindset.
Jokes aside, I played a good game, learn a lot, changed some more and I am open once again to learning what life has to offer.
This time, my challenge will be to learn how to best optimize time usage and sleep for the body to be prepared for changes.

I have been on Day 0 since Monday and now it is Friday. I seem to make it almost to 24 hours and then I relapse. On day 1.5 no P, and day .5 no MO. I set my global counter to midnight last night as even if I had not MO'd, I have been feeling really shitty. In part because of PMO, but not entirely. I am just trying to figure out my life which is hard. I will be an orc in about 12 hours, so I just need to stay strong for that, then rinse and repeat taking it one day at a time, and at this point, one hour at a time. Hell, if I can tell myself that I can make it the next minute and a half without P (when I am having urges and not at work like right now), then I just set a timer and keep doing that until the urges go away.

I got up at 5am today and then washed my dishes and laid back down at 6:30AM until 9AM. So in total, I got about 8 hours of sleep. I have seen some things talking about splitting your sleep schedule into two parts. Going to bed about 9PM getting up at 2-4AM, staying up until 6-6:30AM and then going back to sleep until 7:30-9AM. I have seen studies that that works really well for people who struggle to sleep through the night, and who are wide away during the early hours. That way they can be productive at those early hours in the morning while still getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night.

I don't know if that is for me, but I can usually get up for 1.5-2 hours and then sleep for another 1.5-3 hours after that. I am not sure how it would work, but I go on break in less than two weeks, so I can start trying it out before I return to work and school. Maybe it will change my recovery schedule as well.

    Best,

Still you’ve made insane streak, congrats!
I noticed one common thing going through various threads-nearly all bros hate themselves after relapse, some to the point of even heavy depressive states-IMO beating yourself so much will not bring anything good and paradoxically seems to for some even further weaken your psyche-creating vicious cycle of self hatred <=> relapse.
Good to hear that you are able to avoid that, next time will be even better!

Each one of us has slightly different strategy but I think that here is root cause of your frequent relapse.
Timer alone will leave you 1-on-1 with yourself-that can also mean urges and rising demons/wave of P memories. Today I had close call (triggered here on NoFap!!!) but was able to avoid relapse via:
    1)immediately closing that thread
2)doing as much strength exercises as I could
3)returning and with renew strength blocked author of that thread
4)put some energetic rock music, got outside & went for some swimming pool chillin’

Each of us is unique but pretty sure that setting timer would make my mind wonder-and that wasn’t good moment to wonder for sure. Still hoping that you will make it, regardless of strategy!
