You shouldn’t have drunken yourself into oblivion and I think you know that too. Life is ups and downs and it’s mostly about how we deal with downs. So hold on because this is a very important time, for you, people around you and this community. I will be praying for you.

    Day 7

I have on this day completed a full week of nofap. I have done it many times before, but it is no doubt nice to have arrived at this point again. I feel as though my mind has entered a state of creativity and has a thirst for knowledge. These ancient texts I’ve been reading help.

I would like to one day have my own works of wisdom to impart upon the world.

How social media is effecting people's lives, I find it insanity. My entire life I haven't been a part of it, and when I do occasionally visit and snoop at what people are really upto, I find it incredibly depressing. They're there literally every 10 mins... heck every minute. Can you imagine being around a person who has an itch to check his/her device every so minute, can you imagine how distracted they'll be, how they can't be present in a normal interaction how hard you may try. This is ridiculous as I see. Are any of you like that? Don't be like that, I've no respect for people who are bent over their phones trapped in mindless entertainment, who just can't be present. This is really depressing.

  6. There's a chapter in Hagkure says, if you're going through hard times rub some spittle on your earlobes. A little superstitions but I've found it helps.

Haha I remember that part. Maybe I'll actually try it some day. Currently reading "The Unfettered Mind" which is much better than cruising social media.

  8. I rubbed some few mins ago.. haha.

Day 342 no PMO. Went on a very long walk. I think it was about six miles. It was cold here yesterday but I made myself get out anyway and I’m so happy I did. No urges at all yesterday. I’m getting better about bouncing my eyes away from temptation. Headed to church to volunteer here in a few min. I’ll be there mostly all day. Should be a good day.

Thank you brothers for you support and kind words! I think i almost made it through! I tell you the reason behind it. It is actually two reasons Pride and Greed, these two can torment your soul forever if you allow it to them and I think it is not an exaggeration to say that 99.99% of all people on Earth are enslaved by them without even being aware of what affects them. It is a fact that our society brings us up by instilling these sins in us as virtues from the very young age. They are the means to the way to control us, to come to the job we hate, to do something immoral, to be afraid to speak up about injustice...

    Day 2
Yesterday I felt really depressed and dived into some heavy thoughts, but it was a bit productive, actually, cuz now I have some good material to work with my therapist, who I'll restart to meet this week.
It is indeed true that the very moment after a relapse can be one of our best teachers in the process of getting over the addiction, so pay attention to what you feel and think right after that!

8 days, starting to feel better since last week's fail.
Still a bit moody. I was much happier before. Beware autopilot and checking if your filters are working.

I want to ask the guys on long streaks if they still happen to have drops in motivation. Today after 7 days I'm on my toes but feel quite strong yet there's some kind of weird sensation at the back of my head which kind of drains my energy.

I try to figure out the addiction process. The dopamine receptors must adjust to new lower levels. How long does it take? I hope not 9 months. And when they do, will the level of satisfaction from everyday things go up or will reading become more interesting or does it only depend on the book you're reading :).

Does it feel much different when you are on day 7 and when you are on day 67?
