    Day 218

Missed yesterday’s check-in for which I apologise, met up with my Dad and sister and lost track of time before heading to bed!

Things have been going really well! My meeting with my former crush went well, and I’m grateful for the conversation I had with her - it did cause some arousal but I was able to abstain from indulging any thoughts.

Thank you for everyone . Without My fellows , I can't reach 100 day milestone . When I joined the challenge about 3 months ago ,I was in the day 0. Lot of brothers motivated me to reach day 1 . I have remembered these old days yet.... old is gold.

  5. Day 2 complete!

Mmph, it was a hard day, harder than I was expecting. My run didn't go well because of my left hamstring hurting and lots of side cramps making it hard to breathe. I still covered the entire route I had planned even though I had to walk most of it. This could have been a blessing in disguise--I used up much time and energy which may have otherwise tempted me to PMO. Tomorrow is the last day of my summer assignment at a local church, so I spent all the time after dinner packing up my things. It's difficult to take everything out of the room I've been living in for two months and to make sure it will all fit in bags and a suitcase. Also, while I'm happy to go see my family for a week before returning to seminary, the moving around to a "new" environment and disrupting some of my routines might make me more vulnerable to PMO. We'll see.

One reason I might be experiencing failure over and over again without much success is because I still see this as an individual struggle, something I must face alone. I only remember the Fellowship at night when I'm checking in. This needs to improve. All of you can be a great motivation for me not to PMO so that I don't let you down.

St. Benedict of Nursia, pray for us!

    Day 24 check in. Days PMO-free in 2022: 210 out of 218.

This morning I went solo hiking in the mountains, running as much of the trail as I could. Normally in August the heat would be almost unbearable by noon, but today it was overcast and rainy, and after climbing 5,659 feet in almost 7 miles, I was literally walking in the clouds for the last mile. The wildflowers were blooming abundantly, there were only a few other souls on the trails, and it was a sublime, surreal, peaceful experience communing with nature in solitude. After traveling 13.35 miles and all of that elevation in just over 5 hours by foot, it was also physically exhausting in a very satisfying and healthy way. I feel blessed to the point of being overwhelmed to live so near my own misty mountains and to be able (physically, materially, and temporally) to make excursions like this whenever I want to. And the side benefit of expending this much energy in nature? Zero urges today of any kind.

It's ok to be horny. But that doesn't mean I should overstimulate my brain with easily accessible, varied and far too intense internet pornography.

30 days hardmode, I didn't think I could made it.

30 days – Your loved ones send you a gift as a token of their love. Radagast, the Brown, in his rabbit sleigh delivers you Evenstar – a silver necklace with a white stone. "When the memory of the fear and the darkness troubles you...this will bring you aid".

  10. 58 days,

This week I've exercised 5 times, I have not done so much training in years. I've started calisthenics, and the idea is to train ~30 min. 5 times a week,
instead of training 3 times a week for ~1 h.

I sometimes have strong urges, but my reboot is quite solid, and I determine to never return to this unhealthy habbit

Also I'm practicing the dopamine detox as additional challenge to NoFAP, and guys, I really recommend, I cut off the Youtube/videogames/movies/music and
    1. I feel much more happier, I'm start to enjoying little things, like petting my dog, or go for a walk, or I even started enjoying training, before for me it was like "I must train because it's healthy" not because I was enjoying it, but now it totally different.
    2. Much more free time, since I've stopped watching porn and stop watching youtube/play videogames/etc. I have some much free time during the day, that I don't know what else to add, maybe I will take a new hobby, or the second job idk. :) (What do you recommend?)

Also I'd like to say thank you to all of you, it's much easier to fight this addiction together:emoji_heart:

    Checking in Fellowship Friends!

    26 Days Free of PMO.

Feeling good again today, I really owe a lot to the Wim Hof breathing method for tackling some of the anxiety I would feel, that alongside meditation has been a powerful ally. I highly recommend both, I've been meditating for a long time, Wim Hof , however, is new for the last month or so.

Today will be an extremely hot day where I am, over 40 Celsius. My aim is to get my workout and exposure out of the way before it gets out of a healthy range with the heat.

I am so happy to read so many reports of the brothers in our group moving forward. You are all inspiring.

    Stay Strong!

@RiseToGreatness Glad to hear the stretches helped! Well done on taking the first run brother and even if you recognize being out of shape, it's all good. You've taken the first step by going ! Go at your pace and keep the momentum my brother.

@PeaceOnEarth108 Congratulations on your 1 month milestone!

@Kratos_GOW I read your post and I agree with you. Stoicism is key in developing mental fortitude. When I fell off the wagon after over a year of freedom, I had stopped this practice amongst others. I was complacent. Do not allow yourself to become complacent in the practices that have assisted to move you forward in life. Complacency sets up the opportunity for a powerful trigger, typically through emotion, to render you off balance. Complacency is the biggest "threat" to a long streak. Keep paving your path friend.

@SSS Vision Sounds like a great hike!

sry for no check out yesterday/no check-in today (Im at day 6 now)

Was visiting the girl yesterday stayed overnight - again a lot of cuddlin and then : our first kisses- she didnt want me to sleep lol... I guess Im in Love (though I thought that wouldnt be possible lately) Its so beautiful and a bit fearsome at the same time^^

[Why do I write that? Because since Im doin' more and more with this girl I have less and less motivation engagin into PMO - we need to replace it with real love and "lovin/selflovin' acitivities]

Had to go to work early today so check-in wasnt possible...

But I feel quite happy now:)
Wish you all a great Day^^
