Moving towards Day 8.

Again, so grateful that I could stay 8 days clean. This time i need to make it to atleast 21 days. I tend to forget things, i keep forgetting what painfully stressful place I was in 8 days ago. Today I started going to places that caused me aggravation and mental stress in my past. I am not in any type of position to deal with any stress atm.
But i keep forgetting.

Affirmation/Reminder:
"I'm not in any position to deal with anything, any stress in life"

You really like posting these awareness moments. Not sure why... Probably you want a discussion or something. But I don't think there is much to discuss. In reality (workplace, uni, streets, parties, etc, etc, etc) I have NEVER seen a man being disrespectful and grasping woman's breast or other places. But I have seen hundreds (probably thousands) of woman dressing immodestly and that way being disrespectful to guys.

Haha, right.

8 days – Gildor Inglorion, an Elf, crosses your path causing a Nazgûl that was chasing you to flee. You stay the night with his company of Elves talking about your struggles with PMO. "Courage is found in unlikely places" he says. He gives you an Hithlain rope, a magical rope, light and flexible, yet extremely strong.
8 Days! Glad to escape those nasty Nazgûls. To be honest I didn’t even realise that I’d gone for a week yesterday. Still no strong urges which is good. Didn’t get as distracted by my phone today either.

Besides feeling vulnerable, I guess I am feeling disappointed. Not a good combination. I joined LOTR challenge in the Spring of 2021. Guess how many people are still here from the original fellowship? Only @RiseToGreatness and me. And it's not because all others have finished the challenge... Most of the guys gave up. I think there is no point in saying more.
[/SPOILER]

Right, this placed used to be quite solid in terms of peer support and accountability. Most of them stopped checkin in for some reason. Probably they stopped seeing value? As the no of mwmbers diminished and so on. I'm pretty sure most of them are still doing quite well though.

I personally still find this place quite useful though. Rest of the challenges tend to become tedious and mundane, just counting days isn't enough. You need a space to vent once iba while, or every day if you need to.
