Day 473

First day of paternity leave; went for a run, and had a couple of catch-ups with friends. House is all ready for the imminent arrival, I’ve been feeling anxious but trying to give myself grace and take things one day at a time.

Day 13. I usually cannot reach this far consciously. The body lurks for something. But I think the urges are in control. The worst I'm doing is going very late to bed (due to work), and having a bad sleep schedule. Some had remarked me that I should take care more of my health. Part of my uncontrol is a will damaged by PMO.

- I usually suffer urges the 1st, 7th, 10th and 20th days. Beware these days.
- Good hygiene and good habits are a must.
- Minimum usage of phone.
- Evade any lustful though, especially the memories and the fantasies.
- Improve relationships. Do not pass alone much time.
- Don't let the stress control you.
- Don't enter your bedroom or in your bed with the phone, and don't leave it at a hand.
- Don't stay in the toilet more time that the necessary.
- Don't drink too much alcohol.
- There are some people (and conversations) you must evade, they don't help you to recover from PMO.

1 day
Relapsed the weekend. Recently I'm really stressed, with the stuffs that I have to do to start on my new job and the acumulated homework that I had are driving me crazy. I'm mentioning it because that was the reason that I relapsed.

Keep strong my brother

Day 14 - Reminding me to stay on earth. I cannot trust my emotions, pleasing or unpleasing, as my memories and wills.

Day 1

I got to an interesting part in my book today that made me reflect on my childhood. I grew up in a very rigid, dry family... You get a job that's good enough to pay the bills, you work hard and then you die. I was never like them and still am not, but I think part of my childishness as an adult (including PMO addiction) has been a rebellion against an adulthood that I think must be dry, boring and without real purpose. That is a false interpretation though, it doesn't have to look like that. I can be purpose driven and integrated! I think that is the highest level of adulthood (or perhaps it's better to frame it as the highest level of growth).

My crush got back from her trip home to Mexico today. It was nice to see her, but I got hit with a big wave of fear. Yet another layer of the onion to unravel when it comes to dealing with women I guess...

Day 15 - Day hard dealing with temptations. No excuses.

Day 16 - Going on. I must reduce phone usage.
