Yeah Bro you're not alone , you have a lot of brothers and sisters who are in this fight with you , keep on the fight
Checking in for day 5, my last day as an orc. In an effort to adress my excessive screen use I've decided I will try to engage in the dopamine detox, it has only been 1 day (so it might just be the excitement of something new) but I'm currently feeling great and much more motivated to get work done and tackle the harders tasks that I have on my plate.
Absolutely brother! I guess reading about P is enough for me to feel strong withdrawals even if the book talks about it in a negative way. I will keep reading other books that don't directly talk about P. Also I've taken note of BRACE method as suggested by @RiseToGreatness to help me for next time when I get triggered.
I will make sure I center myself first before I delve into YBOP or any other activities which maybe triggering. Thanks for the tip.
Day 1. I don't like the word 'relapse'... it's very heavy, but I watched porn and masturbated to it today. Having M and O as options was actually making it harder for me, so I think I'll reset and go no PMO. All in all, I don't see this as going back, since I went a whole week without porn and had not that much trouble.
I read a book by Lawrence LeShan called how to meditate. It was very helpful. It contains many different methods of meditation which is good because different types of meditation work for different goals. I would recommend it. There are also various websites on transcendental meditation. These are also great.
I agree. Bad weather can mess with you. I think I am going to start taking vitamin d because I am not getting enough sun.
"Its simple all you gotta do is click on someone's counter or here http://pmo-tracker.appspot.com/?u=4960206475755520 it will redirect you tow a page and on that page you just click make a pmo counter for me. From there you set your days goals create a password then copy the url at the bottom and go to your account page click on profile signitures and paste that url and save changes hope this helps"
I wasn't check here these last few days because, since my last relapse, I was trying to gather myself up to restart the journey. So... Day 1 the orc cave.
Day 4 complete! Felt pretty good today, kept myself busy, but this is where the challenge really begins. 4 days has been a wall for me for a long time, so in terms of the challenge it feels like I've just now finished lacing up my sneakers. Once I hit Day 5 I'll really be on the road. If you scroll to the top of the page you'll find a toolbar. One of the tabs says "Update Day Counter." If you click on that, it'll let you input the time and date of your last reset, and then the symbol will appear on your signature to track the number of days since then. I've found that it can be quite laggy, so don't be alarmed if it shows itself as a day behind; it'll catch up eventually. I'd love for a NoFap veteran to weigh on this, but from what I understand, a single instance of falling doesn't count as a relapse. The way I see it, a relapse would be if you give up the fight entirely and slip back into those habits for days or weeks. I think what you're describing is simply a reset. This is what I'm looking at: https://nofap.com/glossary/
Day 23. Pretty dull and depressing day today . At a critical point in life where a few of my close ones are against my decision (taken a year back) of quitting my job and starting my own business. COVID-19 doesn't make things better as things got pushed back by around 8 months. However, not thinking about the ring and strongly wish to defeat it this time.
Day seven got the cold shower meditation pushups Bible reading in yesterday if I do it today I’ll make it through day 7
Day 20, entering Bree It's pretty calm right now. Hope it stays that way. I know dark forces are always lurking. I've been pretty productive the last few days, hope to continue this trend today. May your days be bright my brothers and sisters <3
