bro, how much porn did you watch? i mean, if it was a couple of minutes, no real harm on that. it´s bad but it´s not a relapse, no need to reset for that. however if it was like 30/60 minutes, now that´s harmful and against the rules.
please consider what happen. peaking is not a relapse!! it´s truly unfair to go back to orc, especially when you were so far on your journey.

It was more than a peak I have to admit. Almost 2 hours. Under my rules that is a hard relapse and I have to do a full reset to zero. It is a hard lesson but best to be honest and take the punishment.

I relapsed again earlier today. I need to pick myself up and rise above my actual self in order to become my true self. We keep fighting!

Feeling really good lately. i decide to become more social, get in touch daily with family (even distant ones) and friends. I think my dopamine is going through the roof because i really feel good about myself, energetic and confident. I read about this before but never put into practice. Now i see the true benefits of it :).

Stay social Fellowship. You´ll feel like a million bucks and it also prevents relapses since when you around people, you can´t submit to the PMO spell eheheh

Have a great day brothers and sisters!!!! Onward!!!!!!! :)

I've been struggling with PMO over the past month.

The US election and rising covid cases have been stressing me out and I've been inconsistent dealing with these and other stresses in healthy ways. There's been a couple of binges and usually my clean streaks don't last longer than 4-5 days. In hindsight, posting about it on this forum would have been helpful but I've been trying to stay off of my laptop.

For now, it seems like my current job is secure so that makes me a little less stressed. The pandemic has thrown a wrench in my recovery plan but I'm still committed to getting over PMO. I'm luckier than many others to have safe ways to get out of the house and do stuff other than sulk around and try not to think of PMO. I need to have a balance between not being too reckless and not being too overcautious. My gut is telling me to be safe and smart but still go out and LIVE.

I need to get in the habit of going for walks and hikes more often. One hobby that I've gotten better at recently is photography. I also enrolled in online grad school starting in the spring. Hobbies that I want to get into down the road include rock climbing, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, cycling, grilling, and playing guitar.

Between all of these replacement habits and the support of my friends and family, I will get over this PMO addiction slowly but surely.

    ...

Here's a quote that hit home for me:

“The world isn't in your books and maps, it's out there...”

― J.R.R. Tolkien (through the words of Gandalf)

I've been given feedback on this forum that in order to get over PMO, I need to change how I think. Here's a video I listened to that seems to be on the right track:

    Hope it helps.

After doing some thinking, it seems like my struggle with dealing with PMO falls back to my struggle with making plans and not following through with them. In hindsight, this makes a lot of sense. I've been told I'm good at making plans but inconsistent with putting them into practice. Maybe getting better at carrying out plans will help me get over PMO.

Checking in ! Hey brothers you should defend your health from PMO the way Bilbo defended Thorin against Azok the defiler and his wargs ,otherwise it won't work.

    Day 8

Still hanging in. Today I am focusing on trying to re-establish good habits, face the things that cause anxiety, and be present to family.

Let's all get today accomplished and in the books as PMO-free.

You are a legend man for sharing this and we are all behind you. I would say you are spot on in your appraisal of how the previous week affected you, and guaranteed your dating experiences will be on different level once you get a stretch of no PMO going.

I have been told the same things :/
And due to low morale on many days, I'm unable to bring myself to face the fact that there is no tomorrow. Maybe I need to set more realistic targets and smaller targets that are easily doable and mix it up with some long term targets.

    Also, checking in for today

  18. Day 2 complete. A good day, nothing to report.

  19. Thank you! Today's the day. Day 225. King of the elves on the shelves haha
