  1. Day 4 complete!

I wanted to go running today but the sky looked very nasty and it would rain a bit every so often, so I decided to push it off until tomorrow. Instead I spent nearly the whole afternoon and much of the evening in front of my computer, sending a bunch of emails and catching up on correspondence. It was very productive work that needed to be done, and I took a break to give my grandparents a call, but it was still draining. I'm proud of myself that when thoughts of PMO came up as a distraction or reward, I was able to redirect them into checking the next thing off my list.

Hey hey, runners unite! I don't explicitly time myself but I can usually get 7 miles in just a bit over an hour. I've run two half marathons before and I hope to finish another one this spring, even if it has to be an informal, personal affair due to Covid.

Day 48. Checking in. Feeling positive today and back on track with my sleep schedule. I have have been writing and reading a lot which has really enabled me to organize the information in my head. I find it very cathartic to start and end my days with these activities

    Day 37 in progress!
Starting to feel better, but still having trouble sleeping early. I know what to do to tackle this problem, because it all has to do with my phone. I have to put my phone in a different place, completely out of the room that I sleep in. I always tell myself that I will just watch 1 video before sleeping, but of course this never happens and I end up sleeping hours later.
I will change this habit starting today! I also want to read more, so I will try and read for about 30 minutes before I go to sleep and replace the bad habit with a good habit.
    Much love to everyone!

Yeah me too I usually don't drink anything when running but today I had 400ml of water while running. I ended up running marathon in 4 hours and 50 minutes :)! Last two hours of it I prayed to finish what I started and they were a torture( Runners know what I'm talking about it's when you have calves, knees, buttocks and spleen,+ ,aching at the same time.It feels like ripping you apart from inside. It's a pain in every step you take.). Lost 3.5 kg while running it.But it was worth it, because at the end I felt great with sense of accomplishment of the difficult task and very good mood and a sense of kindness, especially towards other runners :).

"4.5 The High From the Dance Around The Red Line

Even with the one clip that’s lingered on, users constantly teach themselves to filter out the bad and ugly portions of porn clips. Even if it’s solo, they still filter on the body parts that appeal to them the most. In fact, some take pleasure in this dance around the red line, finding excuses to declare they like the ’soft stuff’ and are unaddicted to supernormal stimuli. But ask a user who believes they stick to a certain actor or genre, “If you cannot get your normal brand of porn and can only obtain an unsafe genre, do you stop masturbating?”

No way! A user will masturbate to anything, escalating genres, differences in sex-orientation, look-alike performers, dangerous settings, shocking relationships, anything to sate the little monster. To begin with they taste awful, but given enough time you’ll learn to enjoy them. Users will seek empty fulfillment after having real sex, after a long work day, fever, colds, flu, sore throats and even during admittance in hospitals.

Enjoyment has nothing to do with it, if sex is wanted, it makes no sense to be with your laptop. Some users find it alarming to realise they’re drug addicts and believe this will make it even more difficult to stop. In fact, this is good news for two important reasons.

    1. The reason why most of continue using is because although we know the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages, we believe there’s something in porn that we actually enjoy or that it acts like some sort of prop. We’re under the illusion that after we stop using there will be a void, certain situations in our lives never being quite the same. In fact porn not only provides nothing, it only subtracts.

    2. Although internet porn is the most powerful trigger for novelty and sex based dopamine flooding, because of the speed you become hooked you’re never badly hooked. The actual withdrawal pangs are so mild that most users have lived and died without realising they’ve suffered them.
Why is it then that many users find it so difficult to stop, going through months of torture and spending the rest of their lives pining for it at odd times? The answer is the second reason, brainwashing. The neurotransmitter addiction is easy to cope with, most users going for days without online porn on business trips or travel, unaffected by withdrawal pangs. Their little monster is safe in the knowledge you’ll open your laptop as soon as you return to your hotel room. You can survive your obnoxious client and your megalomaniac manager, knowing the fix is there for your taking."

Day 4-5 (writing for 5 since I will not have time again tonight and I am 100% sure I am not gonna relapse):

Strangely enough, my HOCD is getting better already. I have been having fantasies that I want instead of ones that give me anxiety. However, these wanted fantasies don't make me want to fap. It feels. . . healthy? I am not sure. I would explain what the targets of the good and bad fantasies are but I will spare you all the awkwardness. Lol

Days 4 and 5 finished, only had one urge (HOCD style)
