Day 190. @RiseToGreatness is right. I have not been accountable lately. I have not been taking the time in the mornings to post every day like I used to. I have also been spending too much time in bed in the mornings which has caused me to have wet dreams and fantasize. I am lucky that I have not broken my no PMO streak because of this. I am going to hold myself accountable and continue on with this reboot beating this addiction once and for all.

  4. Day 0.

I can only apologize and begin again so many times before it starts to feel fake. With as often as I reset now compared with where I used to be, you all must think I'm not truly committed to this fight. Maybe that's the case. I worry and wonder about that myself, but I haven't found a way to prove to myself and others that I can be in this with everything I've got.

As it stands, PMO has drained me of everything. I had a great shift at work, got home mid-afternoon, masturbated, and accomplished nothing the whole rest of the day. I stand here, a Ringwraith.

Hey man! I feel that I relate with you a bit and wanted to share my own personal discovery in hopes that it will encourage you down this new path. And if it doesn't encourage yuh, just disregard it! haha.

Essentially, I've come to the conclusion that it is the pursuit of virtue that is more important than the attainment of it. I have accepted that I am a broken man and that I will always be failing in one regard or the other. However, in continuous pursuit of being better than who I was yesterday and taking small steps to make it so (with occasional backsteps lol) I have changed so much for the better than who I was a year ago I'm like a different person. It's weird. Great! but... crazy. And yet, I'm still broken too.

I guess what I'm saying is, with gradual steps and time you can be greater than what you are.

I believe in you man. You got this.

Okay! I realized I've been commenting on your guys' posts but have been slacking in updating. Sorry about that and here we go!

I'm three days in and the slight urges have started to kick in. They've all been manageable thus far though. I've been really trying to strategize, keep myself in public places or keep my bedroom door wide open. These things have helped I believe. I'm also doing this challenge congruently with the Dopamine Detox challenge which has really allowed me to hone in on the things that matter. Like schoolwork, walks, and dinner with the family (got them to sit around the table instead of the tv).

I feel good! We'll see how long it lasts haha

Things I want to work on is exercise. I suck at it. Just doing it. I'm extremely lazy to do that. ugh... lol. And sleep has been a struggle too. I used to sleep with youtube or something, but without that now I just lie there and try to meditate myself to sleep. It works but it's been fretful. Anyway.

    Live long and prosper

If it feels like you've lost commitment to your cause, it might be a good idea to write down the strongest reasons for why you're doing this and remind yourself of them everyday for a while. That has worked for me in other areas of life :) Good luck on your new streak!

15 days. Hobbit gang, rise up!

Running + push-ups + sit-ups in the morning. A little cleaning of the apartment + an hour of walking in the evening. These things helped killing the urges.

Day 3! The operation was a success, but damn it hurts! I have a tube inside so M is not even possible which is awesome as I am able to concentrate on really doing my thing. I'm on a 2 week sick leave so it might be considered a sign for me to use this time wisely to become limitless!
I will leave you with some of my favorite moments since I started doing NoFap (August 1 2020)
    - Decided to try NoFap
    - Worked out at home/ kept a decent physique
    - Learned French pretty quick (conversational level)
    - Learned more about addiction
    - Got the energy from it enough so I can persevere even when it seemed like it would be easier to quit (I'm mostly referring to my first part time job I got in France where I worked from 6AM to 8AM Monday to Saturday), but was instead grateful for the opportunity
    - Found a French "girlfriend" when I needed one the most for me to not feel completely isolated and just give up on living in this country.
    - Started to put some ideas into practice
    - Saw some new perspectives getting the Cov that I would have never got not getting it
    - found another job where I persevered and got a full time job
    - Learned about living with pain and how it weakens the spirit if not attended
    - Got the chance to live with my parents ( as I haven't done that since I was 8) and learned about living with the family
    - Move out on my own
    - Creating better boundaries

Day 114 no PMO. I continue to feel down. I haven’t been working out since Sunday so that is probably contributing.

  15. Day 0 no PMO, I relapsed after I reached a week of no PMO. At least there's progress regarding the duration of streaks now -- I can't say for sure if that really matters if I am still struggling to get to two weeks. I wouldn't say I'm annoyed over it because I don't attach my ego to the streak anymore, so there's that.

    Hi Fellowship.
I have been so slack in fighting the pmo addiction.
Just overwhelmed with work and old bad habits have re-established themselves.
One thing I know is that fighting an addiction takes a lot of consistent action.
So my goal for this week is to set up some routines to fight my bad habits and replace them with good ones.
Hopefully I can get these routines established firmly before the next wave of work stress hits.
I will keep you posted on my progress, and I welcome any advice you might have.
It's time to make my recovery the priority.
    Have a great day,
    LuckyMan

    Checking in fellowship!

Currently at 146 days free from MO, 218 days free of porn.

Not feeling the best. Another night of shit sleep, stomach was killing me last night and had those random internal body vibrations. This PAWS/flatline can be so brutal at times.
