No, it isn't. People make these materials by themselves and share them with the other people in the community. The sad thing is, that most of the "gooners" are people, who actually try to get rid of their porn addiction. People like us. Basically none of these people really mean what they say. That's why most of them delete their accounts on specific sites every couple of weeks, when they feel like "I have to stop this now. Once and for all.". But whenever they relapse, they go back and binge even harder than before. It's a dangerous spiral. I know, because I was part of that community. I was in contact with a lot of these people. They essentially all say the same thing: "I want to quit, but I'm to weak. I just accepted, that I won't be free." They are not evil people, nor do they have evil plans. They are just a bunch of broken people, who gave up on themselves.

 

That's exactly the thing i picked up when browsing a specific subreddit. Many posts felt like "look where you can end up" and "this is not good". Many felt like warnings more than anything or an illustration of a behavior.

 

What is there to explain? People ask them to make these videos. They make them. They sell them. They make money. Repeat.

 

The costumers. All the videos of the fetish pornstars are custom videos. You send them your request and tell them what you want and how you want it, you pay them an absurd amount of money and they create the video.

The types they are talking about are bad in that they purposefully, overtly try to condition your mind.
You can get out, it's never too late.
First, stay away from porn, that is a great place to start. Also find other things that engage your mind to create new habits.

 

Too much to describe based off of what I read. I suggest reading threads about sissy hypnosis and there was also a thread about gooning. Just search it up on the forum.

 

It's good, that you never went so far. Unfortunately, I was deeply involved in gooning at one point in time. I managed to get out eventually though. What I can say is, that it's not comparable to child pornography. You see, the content itself is basically normal porn but with text on top. The dangerous part of it is the community. They give you a feeling of connection, a feeling of understanding, they make you feel being part of something, like belonging to a group. It's hard to describe. There is constant "support" (meaning constant encourgement to watch porn), and constant exchange. I sometimes felt like I was part of an extremist group. And I kind of was. These people are similiar in many ways to extremist, but they are not really dangerous to anyone else other than themselves. It's easy to get sucked into the community and hard to leave. But you can do it, it's never to late (even though their core message is that it's too late).

If any person reading this is currently stuck in this, be assured that you can stop. Everything is possible.

Yea, that's actually pretty close. In a lot of ways, I felt like I was part of a cult. It's not uncommon for people in the community to literally pray to porn, as strange as it sounds. They call porn and masturbation their religion or sexual orientation. Instead of heterosexual or homosexual, they call themselves pornosexual. I got to know a guy, who married (!) porn. Apparantly, where he lives you can legally marry objects or ideas (I don't know how that works or where he lives). I know it must sound like a bad joke to a lot of you, but it's reality. It saddens me because I know from experience, that virtually none of those people really mean what they say. It's more like a desperate cry for help.

 

@benglish it's so obvious that you're just a troll. If you find it funny to post vivid details about porn in a porn addiction recovery forum, you have serious problems. So, I'd advice you to delete your post and stop commenting such stuff. Nobody gives a damn what porn video you watched. You're providing no valuable information whatsoever. So get lost.

 

The furthest I went was ts porn and I couldn't watch full vids because of how disgusted during some acts in them and had to skip over. But this genre caused me considerable anxiety because I'm 100% straight. My brain just wanted the dopamine. Is this genre worse than gooning?
