I'm glad you're back here @seth, and I completely agree with you : you don't have to start all over again, but it depends on the time you spent relapsing.
If it was 4 days, it makes sense. If it is two months, well, it's more difficult.

You're capable of much more than you think.
Maybe it's time to read again what you wrote here.

I mean, if you're like me, you're probably thinking "Meh... I already know what I wrote, and that sucks to read it again, and I have better things to do and yada yada yada...".
Yes, but it's like a good movie : you already know how it goes, and the plot, and everything, but sometimes it feels good to watch it again, because you get the same feelings as when you watched it for the first time.

    Don't give up.

Hello @seth, I see it pretty cool, and I like that you also see it pretty cool ;)
In the last days you documented a classical addiction cycle, it went like : Thoughts -> MO -> PMO relapse.

And it's great that you just saw it rather cool and came back. That's in fact the way how to improve.

The brain is a pattern machine, which is storing and reproducing various behavioural patterns.

Now once the brain found a pattern which produces "happyness", then the pattern is immediatedly looped back and reinforced.

The loopback can work in both directions:
    • It an be an uplifting experience, which is then a "good" pattern,
    • or it can be a downward spiral - which is then a "bad" pattern.

That's it. And it's all about to stick to the "good" ones, and to avoid the "bad" ones.

There are ways to reinforce "good" patterns, by daily repeating and practicing, and thus, the bad ones are automatically avoided.

And it's also about to constantly learn new patterns and to apply them.

The more patterns we have available, the easier it becomes to quit a bad loopback cycle.

I have completely fallen back into my bad old habbits. My thoughts are jumbled, and I am fatigued from PMOing twice today. But I will start again, starting today

Then make it five, six, seven attempts, or how many you need!
That's the worst! How could you even stand it that long without P when you aroused yourself with subs all the time?
Game of Thrones/nudity: there will always be some kind of nudity / erotism and of course triggers during a long period of recovery. We have to deal with it. As long as you don't treat nudity subs as such, they can't hurt you. Except them, don't stare, don't rewind, don't fantasize, breath.

EXACTLY! And I can give you another reason: you're still here, you're still fighting with it and you know it would be worse when you didn't. You're an addict. So don't you want to free yourself? Don't you want to be in the rocket rather than in the dust?

You're learning from your relapses and making a lot of progress on your journey. I commend you for picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, and getting back on the wagon. Make the changes you need to put barriers between you and the porn. Get rid of whatever app you were using or put stronger protection software in place to further separate you from that shit. Welcome back brother and keep fighting ;)
