Thanks! I forgot a little detail when I wrote that: My wife doesn’t have vacation, which means the alarm will still ring. So I will change my rules a bit instead of just having a break: if the alarm will ring the next day, I will stop using screen at 21:30. When my kids are back in school again, I will go back to old rules. day 0
I miss having a good routine and I didn't really like my holiday-rules. Will therefore begin from the beginning. 21:30 as deadline every day with one exception: movies on Fridays and Saturdays are allowed until 22:30. 0/7
It was a lot harder to keep up in this challenge now compared to some time ago. It's much easier for me to stop using screens if I'm not doing anything useful. However, nowadays I am working almost all the time, so it feels less important to stop using screens since I am actually productive the last hour. I haven't made up my mind yet if I should give this another try, change the deadline or just wait some time before I try again.
I have slowly been stretching the clock a bit too much lately, working later and later. It's time for a serious restart of good routines, so I'm back. Deadline days before working days: 21:30 other days: 22:30 0/30
3/30 I've had no time at all to think about screens the last couple of days, have had no time left to use my computer. So I could probably also call the start a warm-up as I've got the first few days for free
D4 Going all well so far and feeling energetic, more focused and with more time to get things done. I think this is a general habit that is better to avoid. So much time wasted in front of screens
6/30 @Stephan S glad to hear everything is going good for you. Same here, getting back to the old routine feels very good.
8/30. Apparently I forgot how good this challenge was. Now when I’m back in old routines, everything else is like a walk in the park. It’s a wonderful feeling.
12/30. No problems, everything is just better, at least in this challenge. When it comes to abstaining porn, that's something I have to fight harder for.
I'm sorry to hear that. I have just went through a couple of tough days but this time I'm at least pushing through, hope you will be able to do the same when the difficult days come. What has saved me lately is some music that constantly gets me back to a mindful state. I think it can help others too, so I just uploaded the tracks. https://easyupload.io/m/vxwa2f (suggestion: try chakra_pink11.mp3 first)
I'm coming back to this challenge at last. I first set the goal for one week. I aim to be off screens by 10 pm, but more importantly, I want to have a declining sequence. I combine the effort with my bedtime challenge.
