    There are many reasons that drive us to relapse but as a matter of fact, there is one mistake that many of us do that lead us to the trap of relapsing over and over again.
    The Mistake is PREPARATION AND OBSERVANCE, how come? read this carefully because you might get huge benefits out of it.

    it's simple and I'm not going to complicate it in any way, Many people when they decide to quit watching porn they just go to Youtube listen to some videos may be read a couple of articles about rebooting and then they get pumped up and they just start the rebooting journey which ends probably in a tragic and quick way. which makes me sad because I WAS DOING THIS MYSELF for 6 years (I know how ignorant I was) it's sad but Now I can tell you how I managed to handle this addiction in a soft and smart way. so here are some solutions that can change your entire rebooting journey if you are really serious about quitting.

    1- Take 2 to 7 days reading about pornography addiction just go and read every day enrich your mind with knowledge so that you can know how this addiction works and as a result, you'll know how to set your weapons to confront this addiction.
    so, again and again, READ AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE in order to collect a decent amount of information that can really help you get over this addiction. you are probably now asking where can I find this info? It's everywhere on the internet. here is a website that can give you all the info you may need (your brain on porn).

    2- After completing step 1, Go and set a healthy routine based on the info you have already read and collected in step 1.

    3- Set strict (CLEAR) guidelines and rules that tell you what to do and what not to do. You'll get those guidelines through reading about this addiction (step 1).

    4- Guidelines and rules are great but if don't use them when you need them then don't blame them. The most important thing you need to do to make this thing click and work is to obey the rules and follow them, for example, if you are feeling so sexually aroused then there should be a guideline or rule that tells you to do STH to water down the arousal STH like meditation or maybe doing some exhausting exercises or maybe jogging. in Conclusion, YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES if you are really serious about quitting.

    5- Stay Observant. when you start feeling anxious or any negative emotions just simply Don’t stay inside your head for too long. Don’t dwell on any negative feelings for a prolonged period of time. Experience it, feel it fully, and then move on. Stay PRESENT focused whenever possible. Do not obsess over the past. try to do STH you enjoy doing or maybe go for a walk in nature just try to do sth that can give you peace and clam.

    Those things have worked for me and currently, I'm doing a great job. I hope you go and smash it and always feed your mind the knowledge it needs in order to stay clean.
