I guess it does. I've spent too many nights not able to sleep because I could only think about sex and PMO. Quitting helped a lot to not have those kind of thoughts when I'm trying to sleep.

If you were using PMO to help sleep or right before going to bed its going to be hard at first.
I used to PMO before going to bed. It will get easier in due time. I recommend listing to music on a MP3 player or something without a screen to distract from the urgers

Yes it does. It can actually cause several sleeping disorders.

This is your brain on porn trying to negotiate a deal. Give me PMO and I’ll help you sleep. Watch porn and your brain dumps dopamine ( the I want pleasure and I want it right now chemical) and when you orgasm it releases a cocktail of brain chemicals, including norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, vasopressin, nitric oxide (NO), and the hormone prolactin. (Prolactin is believed to be responsible for making a man sleepy after sex).

This is Classic Pavlovian Conditionig. PMO triggers Sleep because your brain has been conditioned to do that. Take away the stimulus (PMO) and your primitive brain will keep waiting because it expects the stimulus to come before the response. Train your brain to listen to music for a few minutes before you sleep and you change the stimulus.

I hope you find this explanation helpful my friends.

PMO definitely had a negative effect on the quality of sleep for me. I would be woken up two or three times most nights for no reason, see weird dreams that sometimes leave me deeply disturbed and I when I wake up in the mornings, I would feel a lot crappier than I did the night before.
