Hey everyone, as I've very recently been having trouble with porn again, I've been watching more of Sacred Sexuality Project's videos (YouTube.com/sacredsexualityvlog). Mark brought up, while talking about rationalization, that porn addiction is a prison, but if you endorse porn, then it won't feel like a prison, but either way you're still locked up. I figured I would expand on the subject and talk about escaping porn addiction (I'm sure it applies to other addictions as well) as a whole.

So here's the premise: Addiction is your cell, Prison is your problems, Inmates are your friends and other resources, and the City is your life.

You start in the cell, with every prisoner's common motive: escape. But as we know, if all escaping required was you and that orange outfit, then the cell would never exist in the first place. You need the tools, the skills, and the knowledge to pick that lock. Getting those isn't an easy task though. You have to look around, ask the other inmates, use your resources to reach your goal.

You did all that, and you're out of the cell, but oh, what's that? Yeah, you're still surrounded by a hundred prison guards with guns; your problems. You have to eliminate them, one by one. Sometimes it's as simple as knocking that isolated guard in the back of the head, sometimes it requires backup from the other inmates.

So, you made it out, but you're still a wanted man. You're in the big open city with tons to do, but you still have to be ready to duck and cover when the occasional cops drives by.

So, I may have lost you with all that, it was pretty weird. I just felt like making that up though, as I love using metaphors. So thanks for reading and I hope this gave you a perspective of some kind.

I understood it well. I've got the tools, taking out my guards one by one right now. 10 days in, 1 million days to go. :)
