the pushup technique

    Hi there, friends.
    I am totally new here so I don´t quite know yet if anyone has done this before, but how about this:
    Every time you get the urge to masturbate, jump up from the place you are currently positioned in and make 10 push-ups. If the urge comes back, do the ten push-ups again and agin and again until the urge becomes diminished.
    Has there been a technique similar to this before?
    You better believe I am building up muscles.

    I haven't heard of that method, but it certainly sounds like it could be effective for both body building and resistance training.
    I like your dedication, you should do well in your NoFap battle.

    Thanks for the likes ;) I wil post other techniques every now and then. I just need to get inspired again. Currently I am on my third day of abstinence but my goal is to do the 10 day challenge and then keep on going as far as possible without fapping.

    It is definitely good to build muscles (like abs and six packs) and resistance training like
    HappyDaysAreHereAgain said but i tried this method for a while but it didn't work for ME, but it might work for you. actually it kind of did the opposite of helping because i felt like when i do push ups and it hurts and i endure pain my willpower is weakened a bit although in the long run your willpower increases if you increase the number of push ups.
    but it might work for you as i said. by the way it's a great way to build abs. I'm a example myself.it also increases your confidence.

    the idea is what i call the One-Punch-Man-motivation. you just keep going on with the push-ups and ignore the pain because at first the urge is stronger than the actual physical pain of working out. it can also make the boner go down xD

    Sometimes though, the push-up technique doesnt work, e.g. after I´ve eaten. In such a case I often find it helpful to watch jigger-popping on Youtube. Even if it is extremely disgusting, you start focusing the video and lose the urge.
    The other positive aspect of watching those clips consists in the raise awareness about the living conditions of the victims and may even lead to donations that help the honorable work of the traveling doctors.

    Ok, I guess this sounds totally weird ;D but it works fine for me. Your likes and commentaries keep inspiring me.

    Had a relapse yesterday. After only 5 days!!! I installed porn blockers on my pc and let a relative invent a password to it. Did the same for my smartphone. Even though I just came yesterday I feel so horny all of the sudden without any trigger. My heart is throbbing and I feel like I will explode with adrenaline. Totally nervous. What should I do?

    ok thanks mate. I decided to just go work out for an hour. Boy i felt good. And then I relapsed. the only good thing about it was that I somehow have changed my field of imagination while masturbating. Since last month I havent been watching porn and I get turned on by more natural things, which is good, but my problem is that i masturbate very often without cumming, mostly I do it subconsciously while being at home.

    Being horny is normal, having sexual urges is normal, ejaculation is normal. But we kinda have it mix up. All these things should be done with a partner(wife). When these urges come just ask yourself "do I need to feed these urges at this particular time in my life"? Most likely your answer should be NO. That's all. Then you move on. Don't complicate things. Similar when your hungry you also have urges, you ask yourself "do I need to feed my hunger urges?" The answer is YES. You eat then move on. Seem pretty simple don't it

    Got it under control again. It has to do with a strong will. I just picture myself on a long difficult road and sometimes i walk of the path but I always go back and move on. That is kinda my philosophy. I really appreciate your guys help. It means a lot. This community is great. ;)

    nice idea bro! for iron abs try to do 1 minute of plank.. i'm quite sure it will stop anyone from relapse! painful exercise but gold for abs!

    Hahaha ;) Actually i was so horny on that day that I didn´t. When you start with nofap, sometimes it takes longer to find out all of the triggers for PMO. To me, if I get hard, I have already lost. At the moment though I feel like a ball of spitting energy. It´s like you could rip trees out of the ground...
