Hi, I'm Mike. I've tried to escape porn addiction several times. Every time I break out of the prison cell, I run and run as far away as possible. Somehow, they always find me and bring me back to that same cell i've been in for the past 4 1/2 years.

There were a couple of times I thought I had escaped for good. It had been 61 days. Maybe they had stopped looking, maybe I was free right? They found me and they brought me back in shackles. However, when I got back I kept on scratching at the prison cell, whittling away the bars...

I broke free again. This time I made it 17 days until they found me. They threw me back into the same cell again. I felt hopeful. Maybe I had cracked the code?

Soon I broke free again. This time I fought back directly, and I was winning. I felt more powerful than them. I learned how to defend myself. I was winning the war.

Unfortunately, one day I let my guard down. One of them crept in and ambushed me. I was tired and my willpower was drained. Well, at least I was autonomous for 22 days. I had lost.

They brought me back in a full body suit. They threw me into a new cell. A cell even harder to break out of. This time they chained me to the wall and put 24/7 surveillance on me. This is the most inescapable cell I've been in.

I sit here writing from this cell today. This is the hardest spot yet. Every time I make an effort to break free, they always bring me back. Might as well give up?

No. I will keep on getting up again, again, and again until I win. Every time my addiction knocks me down I will get back up. I'm not giving up until every last ounce of corruption is ridded from my brain. Bring it on.

    Keep going, you're not alone.

Remember you are taking steps to improve while others have accepted this as the norm.

You're already ahead of most I might not have much info but you're already beating them 90-4 so keep going, as I heard before the devil doesn't care about sinners just sinners trying to escape.

    Stay strong.

You should know that these things are spiritual. They have physical triggers. If I say think of a "cup" you'll see ab image of a cup and start thinking about it. What do we use a cup to do? When do you mostly use the cup and what color is it?
Your thoughts are now still on the cup, if I'm right. Now think of an elephant (am sure you've thrown away tge image of the cup away) now you're thinking of an elephant. Thats the same thing that happens when it comes to sex.
They're key routes to trigger it e.g porn or sexual images. If you look at movies with sex scenes or hear music with sexual content, this is the bait that's being thrown to you that leads you to porn then masturbation. So work on tge small baits not only the pit.
Above all CHRIST JESUS can give you the strength and the HOLY SPIRIT guidance to help you out.
