    Hard relapse on day 2. Give me a strike @BrohkenCompass. But today is day 1 again, and I will make it to day 2, 3 and beyond. I've started my day off well, and hope to continue it.
     
  2. I hope you can stick it out till the new year.

    I had the strongest urge last night since when I started NoFap 4 weeks ago.
    I was so bored and had trouble falling asleep, I thought "oh maybe just this once" but I haven't felt this good in years so why would I want to change that feeling.

    I set my homepage to NoFap page so I remember to keep on track.

    The S days for me would be the worst, were I not working through them. Staying occupied is sometimes the best and only way to smash through these troubling times.

    If you cannot get a weekend job or something like that, start something up yourself but try to be out of the house as much as possible.

    If you can plan walks and hikes and social calls and things to fill the time. But also learn how to meditate so you can be ok and at peace when you are not being distracted and occupied.

    @BrohkenCompass I hope things improve with the MRS, relationship strain is never pleasant, but it will become stronger.

    Day 11. I had a triggering experience with a show last night, but I managed to go to sleep without any bad behavior. Today I definitely feel "on edge." I am relaxing whenever urges come, and am reading on here and in the book "Treating Pornography Addiction" by Skinner.

    Apparently I was going through a kind of flatline during the past week because I didn't experience urges and managed to be productive by getting away from porn.
    The problem is that now I can't stop thinking about sex, porn and other sexual fantasies.

    I don't know what to do, this weekend will be a challenge to overcome my addiction. I hope that these words and rationalizing my thinking will help me to lower my cravings.

    They continue to be this way this morning also and I am tempting myself too much, seeing more than I should. These are definitely yellow days and I know if I keep tempting myself, I will not survive.

    Ok, @BrohkenCompass, I need to probably clarify what constitutes a strike. I have not done PMO, but I sure want to. I have crossed boundaries that I know that I cannot continue doing, viewing random topless images.

    Regardless, I want to not relapse because of these indiscretions.

    Even though you have viewed them, not all is lost! Actually not much is lost at all. As we know, the internal voice will keep telling you to throw in the towel but you can get through it!!!

    Thank you so much for this very encouraging reply. It actually saved me from further damage. I am still PMO free, but I am not proud of my actions and every other time I have done these actions, I always ended up with PMO. I always know for me it starts with a decision to just stop and do the next good thing.

    So, the last 2 days actions do not help my goals, but the fact there was no relapse gives me motivation. It is time for me to consider tighter boundaries.

    Weekends are hard...Day 14.

    Good Morning from Salem Oregon. Gonna be a sunny Saturday, which I am grateful for.

    Wishing everybody the best with this challenge, and with today's obstacles, if you have them.

    Here is a quote that I saw, which I like:

    "Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know".

    Reminds me of a friend who believes that until we have learned the lesson (whatever that may be), we remain stuck in the cycle.

    I no longer want to be stuck in the cycle. You know what I mean?!?

    Today is day 4. I was hesitant to put that in my message, because, in the past that is what I have always posted. Just what day I'm on, and usually, that is the only thing that I post. It felt like someone that was whistling in the dark, just trying to keeps their hopes up. I think it is important to have a date, obviously. But, moving forward, opening up and sharing more, is most important to me, not just just listing what day I am on.

    I leave my message with this...today I am willing to accept that this cannot be do alone. I am gonna need a community of like minded people to help me across the finish line. Today I am willing to be vulnerable.

    P.S. Does anybody know if the "days" listed for your profile can get old, and NoFap is a little slow in updating this? For example, in this post it says "2 days", but today I am on day 4, so I think it should say "3 days"...just wondering.

    It's your recover, brother.

    Absolutely a strike if you look at Porn or Masturbate to orgasm, or hop in a sex chat room. I really only included the chat rooms because I keep seeing people's relapse reports include these chat rooms. I gather it as they're in there, discussing and creating their own "porno" in their minds... imagination.

    I recommended things like no sexting, p subs because that's a surefire way to open the gates.

    Edging can go either way. At first it was a strike, then I just put it on the recommended list.

    I can truthfully say I've never Masturbated and not finished it with a plan to "stop" before orgasm. Seems to me like that's a guaranteed relapse in the making. But everyone here is in their journey.

    This challenge, like all challenges has no meaning outside if here. It's between YOU and YOU. Not me. I'm just here to track everything.

    I've seen your posts. You're getting closer to a relapse (at least in the structure of my own limitations) if you keep heading on the same course.

    You might need to delete some apps, block some sites, etc. to regain control.

    At the end of the day...what is your definition of a strike? Of a relapse? That's all that matters man.

    Yes.
    I used to relapse at 630 am... Often. I'd hit the little button and log it. Sometimes it would take until 8 am to "update" my days counter.

    Then I would mark it for 1200 midnight the night before. I'd wake up, it would say 1 day and be accurate. It worked.

    But then I changed and now I log it at 1159pm at the END of the day I relapse. MO at 8am. Still mark it for 1159 that night. My goal is then to wake up the next day and make it one whole day clean. Then I earn my day and it's up to date always for me.
