The START 2021 STRONGER Challenge [CLOSED]

  1. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS CHALLENGE, YOUR STREAK MUST START ON OR BEFORE 02 OCTOBER

    Maybe in January you made a new year's resolution to quit porn forever but have not.


    Maybe you found NoFap this year but have not been able to stick to your goals.

    Maybe you've been at it for a while and 2020 is not proving to be your year.

    Maybe you're thinking, "Next year I'll do better".

    Maybe you just need the cushion of a little more motivation.


    IF THIS IS YOU - I SAY THIS:

    Stop right now and make a decision.

    There are only four months remaining this year. 120 days and then 2020 will be gone, forever. How do you want to wake up on January 1st, 2021? Do you want to be still trying to stop your porn habits and masturbation issues, or do you want to start the year stronger and feeling great after your reboot success? If you're like me you chose the latter - and that means WE ARE OUT OF TIME.

    Join me in a pledge to achieve what has been eluding you all year. Choose to be victorious over this addiction. Decide to make changes, and make them for good.

    START 2021 REBOOTED

    This Challenge window begins on 1 September and will continue until the ball drops in Times Square in NYC, USA.
    However, in order to participate, your NoFap counter must only begin on or before 02 October so that you can get a full reboot and more can participate.

    The rules are Simple.

    You must REBOOT your brain. You may choose to engage in sexual activities with partners/spouses at your own discretion.

    *Update your NoFap Counter when you relapse.

    *PM @BrohkenCompass if you relapse, and I will assign a strike (x) next to your name & move you down to the next Tier Qualified for... (see dates). You can post in the challenge thread too.

    Strikes begin 22 SEP.


    *5 strikes and you're out. One per Tier, See below

    *NO Porn
    *No MO
    *No Sex Chat Rooms

    From my experience in this community: I highly recommend you stay away from these risky behaviors. Feel free to recommend others that the group may want to consider.

    * Edging

    * P subs

    *Please check in and encourage others.


    *At a minimum, check in weekly and let us know you're okay.

    We are the last REBOOTERS in the class of 2020. One Semester remains to conquer this year. Make it Happen.

    At the conclusion of this challenge participants will be awarded with a Tier level based on the final number of days they achieved ON 31 December.


    Key dates. (Tier Qualifiers).

    23 September. Day -100. Start and stay clean on or before 22 September to qualify for the LEGENDS tier.

    03 October. Day 90. Start and stay clean on or before 02 October to qualify for the PLATINUM tier.

    02 November. Day 60. Start and stay clean on or before 01 November to qualify for the GOLD Tier.

    02 December. Day 30. Start and stay clean on or before 01 December to qualify for the SILVER tier.

    18 December. Day 14. Start and stay clean on 17 December to qualify for the BRONZE tier.

    Count me in.

    Had a 29 days streak from 20th May to 19th June. Don't have an exact start date for this one. Its been 4-6 days I guess.

    whats your dealing with urges strategy?

    I am addicted to prone masturbation -> have never done it with hand.
    So my main goal is to avoid laying in bed at any cost -> bedroom only for sleeping.

    I also use cold showers, walks and meditation -> because my main trigger are thoughts -> dont have porn watching problem but main issue is my fantasy and creating my "own porn! in my head.

    So I have to be busy as much as possible.
     
  12. I think like you, if I find myself getting horny and wanting to act out I need to acknowledge it, and tell myself no not today, then redirect my energy to a task. Say something like "I need to ____ instead of wasting energy on that".

    Or for me the gentle reminder of why I'm doing NoFap. I can't get to my goal if I keep resetting progress. Also just getting on the forum can be a good avoidance technique.

    For you obviously you must get out of bed, and maybe a few pushups or something like that could help.

  13. Okay guys. Day 6 for me and I'm feeling great. Not conflicted with Porn urges at all. Struggling with my wife being unavailable due to a loss in her family. See my journal if truly interested...but all in all I am feeling well equipped for this next 15-16 weeks ahead.

    Day 4
    I feel urges, but stayed busy as possible and I am still in it guys!

    I feel big responsibility for my team in deathmatch sep challenge. So this is really helpful.

    I feel quite decent urges to lay down on my bed and start, but no...this time I am going to fight. See the urges as great learning material -> i really believe that self discipline is the key fir anything and what better way than NoFap to practice it.

  17. Very unexpected sexual activity with my wife last night. I must be extra vigilant against chaser urges...

    Hope all are doing well. One week into September and we are starting to gain some participation. Feel free to invite anyone you think could use this intention as a tool to succeed their NoFap goals.

    I believe this challenge was made for me. For the past 2 decades, I would begin on January 1 with a commitment to be porn free for the entire year...it never happened.

    I have realized for the last few years how important it would be to have motivation months before going into the New Year.
    I also need the "One and Done" aspect of this challenge. My cycles have been single digits for most of my 2 decades of trying, so indeed this will be a challenge.

    So, count me in.
