Checking in Saiyan's!

4 Day Free of PMO

Feeling better today, had some great feedback at work, did some exposure today too and had another decent meditation session.

I will not allow my progress to go to waste. Let us continue to move forward brothers.

Keep training!

@Baki Hanma Definitely hard to tackle, I do them once a week. @stronaut2021 and @Lexro84 it essentially encompasses remaining abstinent from high more "artificial/cheap dosages" of dopamine release. It can vary from person to person. But typically, staying away from screens/tv/youtube/video games and such. Some people even remove music as well. It's a good way to let your main take a breather in this fast paced/always connected society.

@Ainz Congrats on ranking up!

@DRAGON_ Let's get this man.

Day 270
I got it brother. Anyway second day of dopamine detox is started. :)

@Lexro84 It simply means we didn't engage activities like watching p stuff, watching unwanted videos, scrolling social media . Specially these activities are our bad habits. I think @Redemptionisrequired brother explained it with more information. Good luck brothers

104 days free of PMO.
Yesterday afternoon was tough.

I have to study for a certification at work and I started with the first weeks worth of material yesterday.
It was a lot more than I thought it would be and I would like to have it finished by Wednesday.

I started to stress out about making it on time and the urges hit me with some strength.
This altered stress response (turning to P to escape from the problem) is something I have built up for years.

I managed to resist, press on with the studying and get a part of it done.
The NoFap emergency button helped me calm myself down, along with me talking back to my negative thoughts.
Strengthening a more healthy stress response (getting focused and energized to tackle the problem at hand) will also take time for me to build up.

I am happy I managed to do that over falling for despair and the P trap yesterday. I want to keep building along that healthy path.
I want to be healthy and reliable for my loved ones.

We got into this mess because we didn't know any better. Now we do and its time for us to get out of it.
Keep training!

Day 6

Dopamine detox is amazing. Mark Queppet talks about it extensively, check it out.

But for me, it is a constant thing. I have a goal i want to reach, and everything that dosen’t help me get there is a waste of time. Everything that would give me pleasure, that isn’t from getting closer to my goal, is pointless. All it would do is make my brain want and make me crave the easy artificial pleasure (porn, netflix, tv, youtube, SoMe, fastfood, etc), instead of the real pleasure that comes from reaching my goal and the pleasures the goal creates in my life.
